happy 37th birthday to my favorite girl 🎈I really wish you were here. it’s been a hard week leading up to today. we celebrated together every year & I thought we would do that forever. your last birthday on earth you were in the hospital doing a trial but I made sure I got to see you & bring you gifts. if I knew it was your last birthday with me, maybe I wouldn’t have listened to the rules. I’m just thankful I got to spend that time with you & show up for you. I try to hold on to that. I miss you so so much & not a day goes by that I don’t think about you. Doing my best every day to make you proud. I was going to attempt not to cry today because you hated crying & it’s your special day but of course that didn’t work. I’m going to do something fun with your nephew & have some amazing food because that’s what you would want to do today. I love you forever & after that sissy. my sweet sister. today we celebrate your life & i am heartbroken. i don’t understand how or why i have to live the rest of my life without you. i think about you every single day. i’m going to miss you forever. you were the best sister, friend, & aunt i could have ever dreamed of. i’m so incredibly blessed to have had you for all these years & will cherish our memories forever but a piece of my heart will always be missing now.
