You make beauty from ashes. You restore everything. & I’ve seen it with my own eyes, in my own life.

This birthday has been nothing short of a testament of God restoration power. Just last year I was in a place where I was unable to accept love from people, I had a million walls up from past hurts & God has dismantled every wall that I built trying to “protect myself”. I’ve been overwhelmed with so much love and support from ones that genuinely love me for not what I can give but for just being myself. Everything I thought I lost, the Lord has given back 100 times over. Thank you, Jesus.

Thirty years later..

Happy birthday to me 🥹 All I can say is that God is good & God is faithful. This past year has been full of so many inconvenient transitions, but as I look back, it’s just been preparation. I still can’t get over this night. 🥹 It was the most amazing way to start off my birthday week. To see how people showed up for me, whether it was traveling near and far, or helping everything come together, I am beyond grateful that the Lord has blessed me with such amazing people to do life with. This has by far been the best part 🫶🏾
