Hi 👋 I’m Sam and I am the founder and face behind Cade’s Cakes. I get asked a lot about my career and journey, so I thought this would be a fun way to share it all in one place. ⁃ I started Cade’s cakes in high school. What started as a creative outlet and unique gift for my closest friends, quickly turned into a side hustle. ⁃ In college, through word of mouth, my business started to really take off so after my sophomore year, I left the University of Texas and moved to NYC where I attended a French pastry school. ⁃ After pastry school, I worked at Milkbar, I moved back to Dallas, then back to New York, did a quick stint in LA for a Netflix show, and now I’m back in Dallas 🤠🔁🎂 ⁃ There are a lot of good cake stories from over the years (SNL guests, NBA teams, fashion brands, sharks, Olympians, destination wedding cakes…) and I am so lucky that I love what I do. - We’re always changing🫨 and I’m really excited to share what’s to come! Swipe for first cake ever posted 👀 by @samcade
