Creating this piece has been the highlight of this past year. To be able to put movement to their story and see it live and breathe in each season of life has truly been an honor. I love you so much Harper Jewel and I so love getting to do life with you.

“It Is What It Is” is a fluid exploration of identity beyond the binary, delving into the complexities of gender, expression and the tension and freedom that comes with living outside traditional constructs. This work embodies the personal journey of self-discovery, embracing the constant evolution of self. It challenges norms, celebrates ambiguity, and offers a visceral experience of what it means to exist in a world that seeks to categorize, yet can’t contain the full spectrum of human identity.

Thank you @mashupdance for holding space for such important messages and pieces to be shared, big love for everyone involved in putting on this important event🫂

A MAJOR look back<3

Man I have such a deep love and appreciation for all these humans in my life. Just looking back at the last few months with an endless amount of gratitude. I love you ALL.

Change is wickedddd. I have allowed myself to be in my little cocoon the past month and am ready to unleash my curiosity about myself and this new home I am in. I carry every memory and every friendship from LA with deep deep care always.

Getting to teach and take these Open @geometrydancecompany classes has been such a dream. Thank you so much for making this happen Kenz @_mackenzie_martin_ ! This combo meant a lot to me, my relationship with dance has felt cloudy and getting to have a good time with good people reminds me how rich and nourishing dance can really be. Thank you to everyone who came and partied🥳🥳🥳 so much love for you all!
