After 3 long years and almost 1000 shows, I have finally hung up the nametag.👋🏻

What an honor it has been to lead such an iconic show for as long as I have. I’m eternally grateful to the BOM creative team as well as the producers at NetWorks for seeing something in me and backing me all the way. I’m also so grateful for the incredible relationships I formed with the cast and crew over the years, many of whom I know will be lifelong friends. It’s sad to be walking away from what I considered to be my home for 3 years; however, all good things must come to an end.

Tour is tough and I am exhausted. I’ve spent the better part of the last 7 years on the road, performing every night, and living out of a suitcase. While I enjoy traveling, that amount of time, constantly on the move, truly takes its toll. I honestly didn’t realize how exhausted and burnt out I was until I finally stepped away.

While it’s sad to leave, I’m thankful to be taking a much needed break from the road for a minute. It’s time to rest, recenter myself, and live in one place for more than a couple weeks 😭

I want to extend a massive thank you to the super fans and every single person who came to support the show. I loved being on the BOM stage because I knew that no matter how I was feeling that day, the first laugh from the crowd would always make it all worth it.

Over the last couple years with Book of Mormon I sort of got stuck in this content dry spell where I wasn’t really posting much on Instagram because it didn’t feel like anything particularly new was happening in my career.

While I’m super excited to share what’s coming next, I’m going to try using Instagram for more personal stuff again and hopefully remind myself that I’m more than just the job I’m doing lol

Super duper excited to announce that I will be joining the new cast of the Book of Mormon National Tour as Elder Price.

We are a few days into rehearsal and I have to say, this cast is INSANE. I’m so pumped to be sharing this story with some of the most talented individuals I have ever had the chance to work with.

Welp 😭 @anastasiabway closes tonight.

This show and my time with the tour hold such a special place in my heart. Not only was Dmitry one of my favorite characters to play in my entire career, the people I got to work with on this tour were absolutely outstanding from start to finish.

The high caliber talent from people like @kylastone and @bryanseastrom forced me to bring my best to the stage every night and I’ll be forever grateful to them for being the most generous and present scene partners I’ve ever had.

I gotta say, I actually miss wearing 4 layers of wool and pretending I’m cold.

A huge congratulations to the entire current cast/crew for continuing to bring this story across the country for this past year and I hope you all finish off strong tonight! 🥂

Said goodbye to @diego_is_rico on the BOM tour last night 😢

This guy has been a constant source of inspiration for me over the last couple years. He’s constantly pushing everyone around him to do their best work just to keep up. I couldn’t imagine someone more deserving of this next chapter. Go kill it in New York!

We finished off our second season of tour a couple weeks ago and I’m late to the Instagram dump. I feel like these few photos aren’t enough for this but here ya go:

This past year on the road has been filled with so many ups and downs, but I wouldn’t change it for the world. I have experienced an incredible amount of growth both personally and professionally and I’m excited about the path I’m on. This is in large part due to the incredible people I have had around me every day.

This company has worked tirelessly to put on some of the most moving and exciting shows for audiences at every corner of the country (and Canada, I didn’t forget about you 🇨🇦) and I’m so proud of what we have accomplished as a team. I feel inspired every time I walk into the theater and I feel so grateful to be part of such a talented and hard working company.

Last year we saw minimal cast turnover between season 1 and 2 but this year we say goodbye to a larger handful of people that have been here since day 1. To those who have moved on, thank you so much for every ounce of energy you put into this show. Your hard work and dedication to this production have deeply impacted hundreds of thousands of people across the country and you should look back on this experience with pride. You will be missed and you will never be forgotten.

One of those leaving is my very closest mission companion @snackman_ Dang, dude. It’s not gonna be the same without you. We have built such a special connection with eachother onstage unlike anything I’ve had in this business and I’ll be forever grateful to you for being such a generous and uplifting scene partner. I know this isn’t goodbye forever but I will miss you and all our little shenanigans. I’m sure our next Cunningham is gonna crush it and I’ll support him all the way but I’ll never forget my first bumbling buddy. Love ya dude.

And now, we have some much needed time off this summer before we start back up with a BANG this fall. Be sure to come check out the fresh faces on tour, I’m sure you’ll all be very excited to see what’s in store for season 3 🛎️ 📖 🕺🏼

Lauren, you’ve been such a light in my life. The most encouraging and supportive person I’ve ever known. You pick me up when I’m down and you give me the strength to soldier on even when the days are dark. You make me laugh so hard I pee my pants. You inspire me to be a better man every single day. I feel loved and appreciated and cared for by you always. I’ve never known someone who understands me the way you do. No matter what I do, I enjoy it more with you by my side.
