TENORS BY CANDLELIGHT 🕯️
@blackpool_theatre_collective

A very rewarding trip to Blackpool a couple of weekends ago to play piano for ‘Tenors By Candlelight’ by Blackpool Theatre Collective, an intimate 6-hander concert of young tenors aged 16-20 who are well ahead of their years… off the scale talent.
Also amazing to accompany @shinayahunte effortlessly smashing out ‘I’m Here’ from The Color Purple (twice), one of the most challenging songs in the MT world. From juve in the @grandtheatrebpl panto to that is quite a journey… and to see @lorrainehill1904 proudly watching on was special too. Star in the making!

@i.meeson and @carlwalker1584 have something very special in creating BTC, place this college and these wonderful people very firmly on your radar. Incredible 🌟

A big thank you to… all the amazing musicians who’ve been trying to make sense of my dodgy dots since 2015 @hannahonbass @andy.morley.drums @davidtalisman #BenTaylor #LouisBradshaw @lex_bass_, the 4 directors I’ve been lucky to collaborate with, and 3 simply amazing people built into the fabric of the Grand, choreographer extraordinaire @ktdance22, legendary comic & true pro @steveroylecomic 💫 (both deservedly award winning…!) and CM @lorrainehill1904 who’ve been there for every single one. Also to Martin Dodd for his unwavering loyalty, and exec director @anthony_williams_65 for always supporting me & trusting my judgement through both good times and tough ones. Blackpool really love a pantomime… the audiences have been brilliant year on year and it’s been an absolute privilege to be a part of.

See you when I see you, Blackpool 🎹✨

Swipe for sunsets and soundchecks ➡️

BTS at an Ibiza gig… in Yorkshire…

Great afternoon recently, conducting the rehearsals and readying the @ukproms Dance Anthems Orchestra for maestro @dave.danford to take over in the evening.

Also a rare treat to hang back and watch the show from the front — @whitby_abbey might just be one of the most stunning gig backdrops in existence…

Featuring insane vocals from @cicihowells and @georgetebbutt, and an @ariellefree DJ set.

🎬🌅🤘

Thank you for having me back for a bit @ukproms @absolutemusicservices @holly_teague @dave.danford it’s an amazing creation 🙏
