A THOUGHT ON MANHOOD
⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️

We live in a time where diminishing men can sometimes sound like empowerment.
But honoring women should never require dishonoring men.

From where I stand, this is simply an observation;not an attack on women, and certainly not an attempt to diminish the strength, wisdom, or value of women.

Biblically, manhood was never presented as insignificant. God gave men responsibility, accountability, and a mandate to cultivate, provide, protect, lead, and sacrifice. And with that mandate comes tremendous pressure;the expectation to build, to carry, to stand firm, and sometimes to fight battles silently so the people they love can feel safe.

Of course, some men have fallen short of that responsibility. Some have failed to lead well, protect well, provide well, or live up to the weight of what has been entrusted to them. That reality should be acknowledged.

But the failure of some should not become the definition of all.
We should be careful not to take painful experiences with individual men and use them to generalize the character, intelligence, purpose, or value of men as a whole.

A good man’s strength is not just in what he can physically protect you from. It is in the stability he creates, the responsibility he accepts, the sacrifices nobody applauds, and the weight he willingly carries.

Women are powerful. Women are necessary. But we don’t have to make men smaller to prove that.

Maybe men and women were never designed to compete over who is the preferred.

Mmmm maybe there is wisdom in recognizing that God intentionally made both and gave each tremendous value, purpose, and responsibility.

There is power in womanhood.
And there is weight in manhood.

Both deserve honor.
