Who pays for the vetting?

The part of buying a horse that always gets awkward, and it is usually settled in a phone call nobody writes down.

In Horsebook you agree it before the vet is booked. The buyer pays whatever the result, which is the usual way. Or the buyer pays if the horse passes and the owner pays if it does not. Or you split it half each. Whichever you choose, it is written down and it sits on the trial.

Each side keeps private notes the other never sees. Both of you see the same dated record of every step.

Free to join. Link in bio.
