A beautiful human inside and out ( except when playing Mall Madness)! by @samenus48
The Penobscot Narrows Bridge offers a one-minute elevator ride that would have taken us to one of the most unique views in Maine, a 360-degree panorama from 437 feet above the Penobscot River. FAT CHANCE for my sister and I. Located atop the northern tower of the new Penobscot Narrows Bridge, the observatory gives visitors a spectacular look at mountains, lakes and Penobscot Bay. With it being the tallest observatory bridge in the world, it’s a 2,120-foot-long cable-stayed bridge. by @samenus48
Damariscotta, Maine. Harbor views, second-hand bookstores, and a pub lunch, viewing blazing golds, reds and oranges as we hit lighthouses #2-4 today up mid coastal Maine to Rockland. Chill in the air as sun began to set. #Maine #mainecoast #travelmaine #mainelighthouses #sisters by @samenus48

The George HW Bush , aka Walker, Compound. Our last exploration for the day. Did not disappoint. Helps when you have a great tour guide-thanks Maribeth Samenus! by @samenus48
Had a great nature walk today with my sis! Wiggly Bridge in York, Maine, is a 75-foot pedestrian suspension bridge built in 1936 that is widely considered the smallest suspension bridge in the United States. Tide will soon bring the Atlantic level to this. Having a great time! by @samenus48

Before any movie was at our fingertips, my dad used to call me every March and let me know when the Wizard of Oz was on-I looked forward to the call every year. I was always a die hard fan & had a nice collection of Wizard of Oz trinkets that I used to display or okay, yes- I had a Wizard 🧙‍♀️ if Oz purse too. Since I moved to Kansas City, it all stayed packed until a couple of weeks ago. Well, the fire has been re-lit, which moved me to travel to the Oz museum in Wamego Kansas. Best day trip I’ve ever had. I’m going back as soon as I can. What an adventure. What a quaint Little town. If you’re looking for a place to go with your kids this summer for a day this is it!!!! There’s a yellow brick road, a tornado machine, Toto’s to look for all through the town, Great restaurants, a donut shop, a thrift store (a bit lacking for you professional thrifters), Oz Winery-“Yellow Brick Road” my favorite white and “Flying Monkeys” my favorite red, historical movie trivia I didn’t even know I didn’t know (lol), and a historical sign that said Bibles & rifles ( look it up). Going again as soon as I can, pick me up on your way:) by @samenus48
