That day, I was alone at the Aiguille when I spotted Anselme, also standing alone in the queue.
I suggested we team up for the day.
It’s always a pleasure to share time in the mountains with our elders.
Anselme is one of the pioneers of steep skiing and he loves sharing and talking about the mountain … What a privilege to see him glide gracefully down the #valleeblanche at 78 years old, still skiing with the same passion, a big smile on his face…

The country of Georgia has earned a prestigious reputation in the wide world of freeskiing. So naturally, @nikolaischirmer rallied the troops @lucas.wachs @samfavret and headed to the former Soviet Bloc state to find out for himself. The result? A little bit of everything; the good, the bad and the ugly.
