Last weekend we had the most brilliant stay @tors_park in Lynmouth. This beautiful spot is nestled in the depths of Devon with breathtaking views of the sea and the Exmoor moorlands as a backdrop, and is perfect for a weekend getaway with kids, friends and family. We did the most amazing 3 hour round- trip walk through the thick mist, up dramatic cliffs dropping to the sea and wiggling down through a valley to have lunch at the very cosy @blueballinn_countisbury pub - the boys loved this adventure and the adults were rewarded with a late afternoon sauna overlooking the sea on our return to @tors_park , followed by an amazing sound bath. All so fun and the perfect relaxing & revitalising weekend. Thank you @samg1over for masterminding this special place, and thank you and @alicetemperley for including us xxx by @samg1over

EVENT // 📣 It is now just three weeks until the annual OM Club Dinner on Saturday 22nd March 📣

A celebration of OM sport and the Malvernian community, this year’s dinner is the finale event of Commemoration and is being held in honour of Paul Godsland (Staff 1982 – 2024), who sadly passed away in October.

We are excited to welcome @samg1over (5.90-92) as our guest speaker for the evening. In 2024, Sam achieved an extraordinary feat - completing a solo row across the Atlantic Ocean in just 42 days, 3 hours, and 15 minutes, making him the fastest solo competitor in The World’s Toughest Row. His 3,000-mile journey was not only a test of physical endurance but a masterclass in resilience and strategy, and he has fascinating tales to tell.

I loved every minute of the #worldstoughestrow - from the day I decided to enter the race, all the training and learning up to the start line and every stroke of the 3,000 miles across the big blue… Then, on landing in Antigua, feeling somewhat sad that it was all over, I was inspired by the incredible crews in the @globalsolochallenge. Having just completed 42 days, 3 hours and 15 solo minutes at sea - the idea of circumnavigating the globe - 27,000 miles and 140 days seemed unimaginable… Sam celebrates winning the solo class of the Worlds Toughest Row across the Atlantic holding aloft the Welsh Flag taken in Tors Park by @samg1over
