Still dusty from tour, still very grateful to everyone that showed up and helped sell out @ivyhousenunhead London hug and pint Glasgow @therossybar Brighton @thehollowaynorwich @luke.rea for the brains @alfiejoney for the@spoons all the other venues n sound engineers and promoters and to all the new and old pals we hung and jammed with on the way @caitlin__gilligan for supporting @carljbennett for TMing @natphilipps for shredding tunes on sax @samuelhollismusic for the Danny T bass lines. It was a privilege to play with you all. Like JME said on his latest freestyle you gotta spin the tune 2000 times to pay the artist one pence, so to all those who bought tickets and came out and heckled and sank the juice fair play you keep this whole thing rolling.

Funny how much nicer it is playing geetar by the river instead of with the blues on brick lane till you take a tea cake to the head

Cheers folks

Now up in Glen dye far from London playing with @robinadamsmusic for @romancandlepromotions

Playing first co headline at @stmaryscreativespace with Robin in May before heading to Devon to play the Drewe Arms. Beautiful venues will be a good time. Grab u tix!

Traversing both traditional and contemporary folk music Grassie’s fluid playing & raw
songwriting channels the spirit of 60’s guitar greats. His Debut LP(Broadside Hacks)
has been championed by Cerys Matthews, Roddy Hart, The Guardian, CLASH,Uncut
& Rolling Stone. Support tours followed with Ryley Walker, Daisy Rickman &
Gwennifer Raymond. Grassie was then asked to feature at Royal Festival Hall
alongside Robert Plant & Jacqui Macshee. Sam will be joined by Herbie Loening on the double bass.

Opening the evening will be Marlais, whilst usually channelling traditional folk songs from Britain and Ireland through an array of drones and ambient textures, he will be singing them a capella, presenting them in their truest form.
