DON’T ENGAGE WITH THE RAGE

Retrain the algorithm

If we want less rage bait on Instagram,
we need to stop rewarding it with attention.

Don’t comment on it.
Don’t feed it.
Don’t help push it further.

Instead:
Support the creators who bring kindness, creativity and value.
Like, comment on and follow the content you actually want more of.

Let’s stop engaging with the rage
and start boosting the good stuff instead.

💜 THE AUTHOR STAIRCASE 💜 Building connections one step at a time 💜

We're all on it, somewhere!

Some of us are just taking our first steps, others are halfway up, and some are so far ahead we can barely see them! 😂

But here's the thing...

There's room for EVERYONE on that staircase. 🪜

We should be reaching down to help those below us while hoping those further up will reach back and offer us a hand too.

Writing a book is one thing. Publishing it, marketing it, promoting it and trying to get someone to actually READ the bloody thing is another! 🤣

And nobody should have to navigate all of that alone.

Now, let me make something VERY clear...

I AM NOT AN EXPERT! 😂

I'm an indie author figuring things out as I go, making mistakes, learning new things and occasionally wondering what the hell I'm doing!

But I've picked up a few things along the way, and if something I've learned can make somebody else's journey a little easier, I'm happy to share it.

Need a little encouragement? A friendly ear? Someone to celebrate your achievements with? Or just somebody who understands the absolute madness of being an indie author?

I'm here. 💜

I don't have all the answers, and I certainly can't promise to solve everyone's problems, but I'll help where I can.

Because helping someone else climb doesn't mean you have to stop climbing yourself.

There's room for all of us, wherever we are on the staircase.

And wouldn't it be lovely if we all remembered to reach out a hand occasionally? 🏆💜
