ONBOARD VIDEO 🎥🔴 from my test in @innovation_racing’s Ginetta GT4 car last week at @doningtonpark before the opening round of @gt_cup. We had no footage from the first session but, for me, the day was about learning the car, getting comfortable with it, and building up my confidence and speed.
🛞 First time on slicks
💨 No Traction Control
🛑 No ABS
🏎️ Lots of GT3 cars catching and passing at speed!
Lots of room for improvement on my side, hopefully I’ll get the chance to practice again soon 💪🏻

When I heard that Aston Martin factory driver and 3-time Le Mans winner Darren Turner was going to be racing against us in yesterday’s @116trophy race, to say I was ‘incredibly excited’ was probably an understatement. I make no secret of my love of Aston Martin, and @darrenturner007 has driven and raced pretty much all of the cars that inspired my little 116’s livery 🟢🟡 To have the chance to go shoulder to shoulder with him on track, let alone pass him by pulling off ‘the’ overtake of my incredibly short career, is honestly something I’ll treasure forever. He’s an absolute gent, and even came over to our garage for a chat and a photo after the race. Thank you so much Darren! Hopefully one day I’ll get a chance to do it again in the real thing 💪🏻😎 (what is life without dreams?!) 🏁
- P.S. I heard you might fancy a go too, @karunchandhok?! 😏

Incredibly grateful to have been given the opportunity to drive up the hill; the Duke of Richmond’s world-famous driveway, at the Goodwood Festival of Speed last week. Thank you @polestarcars for trusting me with 1 of 230 BST Editon cars, and to all of our guests and passengers for being good sports!

As the racing season draws to a close, it felt like a fitting time to complete my Level 2 in Motorsport Coaching with @ourmotorsportuk - the National Governing Body of Motorsport in the UK 🇬🇧

As an existing ARDS Instructor through my work at @silverstonecircuit, a lot of my time is spent ‘telling’ someone how to drive; WHEN to brake, HOW to brake, WHEN to steer, HOW to steer, WHEN to accelerate, HOW to accelerate (and much, much more!). Usually, this for a matter of minutes as part of a track driving experience.

As a Coach, I enjoy working with passionate and committed individuals who want to better themselves; as trackday participants, racing drivers, and even performance road drivers - over a number of hours, days, weeks, months or years 🚗💨

If you have ANY car that you love, or a fast car you haven’t tamed yet, or you’re curious about getting your race licence, or perhaps your racing journey has already begun - please drop me a message to see if and how I could help you 📥 by @samholmanracing

NLS 8 🇩🇪 After half a year on the sidelines, it was a pleasure and a relief to finally start AND finish our first 4-hour @nuerburgringls endurance race. Not without it’s drawbacks; a tricky situation with an oil pump lead to us to start the race from the pit lane. Having worked our way up to P3 in class, we eventually finished P4 - and P91 out of 132 in the overall classification.

A huge thanks to my friends and teammates @mclaren0260 @truegroup.uk @seanconnolly1993 for coming out and getting involved. As well as @arcracewear @simfinity.official @rowemotoroiluk for their support!

🟢 SWIPE >>> 🟢 I’d hoped to have done a proper helmet reveal ahead of it’s maiden race outing at @nuerburgringls this weekend, but time’s run away from us as usual! 🏁
🟩 SO…HERE IT IS!! After a lot of back and forth with Miles at MDM Designs, we sent my @bellracinghq helmet to Joe at @rennatcustomhelmets who brought the vision to life 🟨 With inspiration from @patrickdempsey and @protoncompetition’s 911 RSR, and reimagined in my favourite colours; inspired by countless, iconic @astonmartinracingofficial liveries through the years, I’m delighted with how it’s all come together! 🚗💨

ANNOUNCEMENT: It was with great pleasure and excitement that I announce our return to the @nuerburgring and @nuerburgringls after a less-than-ideal gearbox scenario put the car out of action for most of this year. Car #115 in the 325i Challenge class will be driven by:

🇬🇧 @samholmanracing
🇬🇧 @mclaren0260
🇬🇧 @tom.mac13
🇬🇧 @seanconnolly1993

@rent2drive_racing will be running my car operationally, as before. Be sure to tune in, and keep your eyes out to see how we get on! 🚗💨 by @samholmanracing

Yes, I could do with losing a bit more weight…but I still got to sit in this €5.1m Ferrari 499P Modificata 🚗💨 There aren’t many new cars that truly excite me these days but, when it comes to the highest level of Endurance and Sports Car racing, I make exceptions. 2026 aside, the Ferrari 499P won the previous three 24 Hours of Le Mans back to back, and this Modificata version will be one of just 30 in private hands. I’d like to extend a HUGE thank you to it’s owner, who was incredibly gracious during @fosgoodwood, and kindly gave up time in his busy schedule, multiple times, to talk to our VIP guests across the weekend about the car and his racing career. What an absolute treat! by @samholmanracing

SWIPE FOR VIDEO (not AI!) ➡️

This morning I woke up to this string of messages from a person I previously coached. I bang on, time and time again, about setting your seat up so you can brake properly - something SO many people don’t realise they’ve probably been doing wrong for a long time.

Well, here’s a video of that person putting that in to practice a few days ago, in their homeland - Hong Kong - and seemingly avoiding a worse outcome.

I’d rather the incident never occurred but it’s inevitable that it will happen to someone eventually.

I’m glad he’s ok, and I’m glad the training helped someone avoid injury or worse.

Back from an insane week at the Nürburgring 24 Hour race. First time I’ve been back to watch the race since 2017. I’d hoped to be taking part, but it wasn’t to be this year. Still, I had the chance to catch up with some old friends, and make some new ones! @petercateracing and @cernymotorsport taking the GT4 (SP10) Class win was the icing on the cake 😎 A quick photo dump for now, more coming soon…👀 by @samholmanracing
