Words can’t express the amount of emotions I have for being included in the lineup for this year’s @fvdedinthepark

Feeling so thankful to be given this opportunity to play the same festival as so many artists I look up to and admire. 🥹💕 After years of going to FVDED it’s crazy to have this full circle moment and be able to play my first major festival! Can’t wait to throw down and get down with all of you! 🔊 by @samiamsound

STEPH:

Steph Tsunami has established herself as a prominent DJ in B.C.’s nightlife, festival, underground, and queer scenes. Having played some of Vancouver’s most notable venues such as Celebrities, Village Studios, Red Room, Fortune Sound Club, Vantek + Industrial 236, Harbour, and Gorgomish as well as BC events and festivals such as Shambhala, Bass Coast & FVDED in the Park (with LVL), Contact Music Festival, Monstercat Compound, Babes on Babes, Hotline, Normie Corp, and many more, she consistently creates an incredible level of hype on dance floors with her carefully picked selections and high-energy beats. She is also part of the queer, femme bass music trio LVL. Her music style predominantly centers around drum & bass/jungle, breaks, footwork/juke, UK bass/club, and techno influences weaving together old and new school sounds, although she has the ability to read and respond to a crowd of any size playing just about any genre you can think of. You can expect sets full of uptempo tracks, catchy samples, and basslines that will surely get your feet moving. She’s been making waves in the scene and strives to bring memorable and unique sets to any stage she plays.

SAM:

Sam known as S@M i @ M is a queer multi-genre artist with a specialization in bouncy tech-house infused with high-octane energy that packs a punch. She’s equally in love with techno and house, and she loves to experiment with all the sub-genres that surround these vibes. Sam’s unique spin on old tunes revamped in dark and sexy styles will make you want to bop all night long. As a dance floor enthusiast, she’s got an uncanny knack for reading the vibe and delivering the right beats at the right time. She is a regular at clubs like Celebrities and has a residency at Karma Lounge. She has also played at festivals such as FVDED in the Park, Rifflandia, and Altitude.
