💜💜💜 IT’S MY 3rd INSTAVERSARY!! 💜💜💜 Just 3 short years ago, this @samiofmiami account became a presence in my life. Although my relationship with this platform has been frustrating at times, I can’t state enough how much I appreciate the outpouring love and kindness from this beautiful community. Thank you so much for all of your support along this journey, especially through the numerous sweet DMs during my unprompted blocks or random spans of non-posting. It is insane to think that I have nearly 1,000 posts and some massive amount of followers that won’t even compute in my brain. I get a lot of anxiety around posting these days or being able to keep up with your amazing posts and thoughtful comments, but you all make it feel the joy of engagement and that you accept me the way I am – this really means the world to me. 🌈🔥 COUNSELING AWARENESS COLLAB 🌈🔥 Hard to believe that today is 3 years since my husband was injured in our backyard barbecue propane explosion, and I’ve been back in therapy ever since (which I really needed anyway). Life has been presenting some additional challenges the past few months, so I’ve been getting more therapy again, and I could not be more grateful for the past 3 years with my therapist!! Although the stigma of mental illness has gotten better over my lifetime, many people could still benefit from normalizing therapy and seeking resources when they are struggling.
