I’m experiencing a life I once thought I could never have. 🤍

This trip to ACL helped me appreciate life, the people in it, and how far I’ve come. I’m learning to be present, soak in the moments, and let myself experience pure joy.

I’ve worked so hard on myself, and I can finally see and feel my growth. I still have a long way to go, but I’m definitely coming out on the other side. I’m thankful for the life I’m building, happy to be living it, and really proud of myself. ✨ taken in Austin, Texas by @samirackesq

Austin City Limits, you were unforgettable! 🎶💕✨

My first music festival at 40, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience or better people to share it with! I stepped outside my comfort zone, and I'm so glad I did because I would have missed out on some incredible memories.

I'm beyond grateful for my amazing friends, who not only put up with me and all my craziness but love me through it all! 😂❤️ I truly couldn't imagine sharing this experience with anyone else. I love you all more than you know, and I'm so lucky to have you in my life.

Having my brother there made it even more special. Getting to spend this time together, laughing, making memories, and simply enjoying each other's company meant the world to me.

Forty (40) years old and still experiencing so many firsts! Here's to stepping outside my comfort zone, saying yes to new adventures, and making unforgettable memories with the people I love most.

Six (6) years ago, I spent over a year using a walker.

My muscles had atrophied, and for years I struggled to find my way back to feeling strong and trusting my body again.

At 40, somehow, I found my way back through the place where I first learned to trust my body: gymnastics. 🤸🏻‍♀️

And strangely, the beam has become therapy for me.

On a four (4) inch beam, I have to be completely present. I can’t think about work, tomorrow, yesterday, or everything else running through my head.

For those few moments, there is nothing else.

Just me. The beam. This moment.

I’m present. I’m okay. ❤️

Sometimes healing looks like finding your way back to a part of yourself you thought you lost.

And THIS is 40. 💪🏼🤸🏻‍♀️✨

There is one thing this weekend in Phoenix, Arizona really made me realize: I’m a really lucky girl.

Being at a gymnastics competition with friends from gymnastics growing up, college, and post-college life, all hanging out together like one big friend group, made my heart so happy.

No matter what life has thrown at me, I’ve always been lucky enough to have amazing friends. Friendships that have lasted decades, and somehow, over the years, all my different friend groups have meshed together and become friends with each other.

I think it works because they’re all just genuinely great people with good hearts, good energy, and good vibes.

Seeing people I love from completely different chapters of my life genuinely enjoy and love each other made me realize just how lucky I am. Not sure how I got this lucky, but man, it makes me happy. ❤️ by @samirackesq

It makes me so happy watching my friends win and seeing their dreams come true. ❤️

So incredibly proud of my good friend Zak on the one (1) year anniversary of opening the Electric Mushroom! 🍄⚡

A dream manifested over 20 years ago finally came to life, and now getting to watch it grow and become such a success makes me so happy for you.

Over the last 21 years, life and our careers have definitely put us on different schedules, but one thing has never changed. I love you so much, and I’ll always be here cheering you on, no matter what.

Happy Nowruz Everyone! This Nowruz meant more to me than I can even put into words.

Nowruz is about renewal, new beginnings, and the idea that you step into the new year surrounded by love, light, and intention. It’s about who you choose to have around you when everything begins again… and this year, I got to experience that in my own home.

Sitting there, looking around at my family and friends, I couldn’t help but feel how far I’ve come to get to this moment. It hasn’t been an easy road, but it led me here, to a home filled with love, laughter, and people who truly matter. And for that, I feel so incredibly blessed and thankful.

There is something so deeply rooted in our culture about starting the year together. It’s not just tradition, it’s a reminder that no matter what the past year held, we begin again, side by side with the people who carry us through life.

Hosting this year meant everything to me. My aunts and uncles showing up with so much food, so much care, and so much love… it filled my home in a way that made it feel complete. Thank you to my family and friends for coming, for celebrating with me, and for making this moment so meaningful. I will never forget how that felt.

And my first Haft-Seen in this home… it wasn’t just beautiful, it was symbolic of everything I’ve built and everything I’m stepping into. A new year, a new chapter, and a space that finally feels like mine.

I truly couldn’t have asked for a more meaningful way to start this year. Surrounded by love, grounded in tradition, and stepping forward with so much gratitude 🤍🌿✨
