My first week of September was a whirlwind of emotions. Laid my uncle to rest on Wednesday & Noah’s one year was yesterday. I miss Noah so much and it still hurts that he is gone. This year hasn’t been the same but I know he wouldn’t want anyone to be sad. I knew my heart needed my husband. He was competing in the President’s cup in Edmonton, Alberta. 🥍 I got the kids ready for back to school & packed up after the funeral and Lloyd and I flew over to see our heart. We took our baby to Banff and he watched his dad tear it up. ❤️ It was so beautiful and I’m so proud of Tommy and his brothers. We missed our other babies and happy to be home. Back to reality and back to school/work after this Labor Day weekend. Side story- Tommy forgot Lloyd’s bottle at a restaurant and we had to go venture out to find one. We ended up on a road with no houses, no stores or anything. Just open views. The sunset we seen about 5 bucks 🦌 gathered together, and when the sun went down the lightening was hitting. It was so beautiful and I’ll always remember that ride with my husband 🫶🏾 by @samiscanlan

My baby turned 1 and his skin is thriving ✨ December 2025 my baby got a cold and his skin never recovered. He gradually got worse and I had no answers until we met with a third dermatologist. April 2026 he was put on a medication that he consistently needs for his atopic dermatitis. His first birthday was last week and his skin is thriving! 🥹💙 He has his flare ups and we’ve noticed it’s caused from red sauce. We’re slowing figuring things out. I’ll always share his story because if I can help another caregiver with advice or to talk, I’m always here! The first year of a babies life is always a wave of emotions. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me if you need ❤️ I’m grateful he is on the mend and we’re still figuring things out. #fypage #eczema #recovery #skin #baby by @samiscanlan
