Hi, I'm Sam! I'm a 36 year old mama of one. Our son is 5 years old and I have the privilege of homeschooling him, which is perfect since I used to be a teacher!

Family time is my favorite, especially when we are traveling or boating.

I love a good book, working out, and spending time with friends.

I'm an infertility and IVF warrior. "Unexplained infertility" is my current diagnosis, if you can call it that.

What a fun dinner experience tonight at Lambert's Cafe in Ozark, MO. Flying hot dinner rolls coming at ya!!

Such a neat, unique dinner even beyond the thrown dinner rolls.
Of course, my husband fumbled on getting the video of C's first attempt, where he actually caught it. 🤪

After we read, "Acorn Was A Little Wild," C really wanted to do more with acorns. The beauty of homeschooling is that it was an immediate "YES" from me. Other science plans got pushed to the side and his engagement level skyrocketed. I seriously love being able to dive more into his interests like this.

When your son has been asking to learn about "the magic e" so you break out this book and your favorite phonics tool on a whim.
Homeschooling doesn't need to be fancy. You don't need to plan every second. Sometimes the best lessons come from a child's interest and you winging it!

Had the best time at @ZooTampa for their Creatures of the Night.

We saw so many animals, enjoyed a fun pirate magic show, went through the haunted houses, and had a blast at the dance party in the kid area!

So proud of my boy for choosing kindness and for comforting his friend.
