I'm making my way home from an epic NYC birthday trip and I'm just so grateful for all the sweet bday love & messages...and to have a reset. It's no secret that this last year was maybe the most difficult of my life. A lot of loss, some incredibly painful, some unnecessary, some ongoing, 2 terrifying health scares, getting my feet kicked out from underneath every time I took a step...making me just stop taking them.

Sometimes you don't find yourself and your strength until you fall all the way down.

Thank you so much to my family and chosen family (and therapist 👑) for sticking by me. You saved me.

What else saved me? Music. Making/writing/playing music with friends is truly what brought me out of the lowest low. It'll always be what made me proud of myself again.
That's all it was meant to do. It's all I've ever wanted to do.

To all of my friends that also had a horribly hard year...I see you and love you dearly. Please take care of yourselves & prioritize YOUR needs and wants no matter what. ❤️

You guys. I played a show at the dang Earl last night. HOLY BUCKET LIST ✅ I've been waiting my whole life for this (and to cover The Promise) and I LOVED it.
Thank you so so much to all our wonderful friends and families that came out to support us and packed the room. You'll never know how much we love and appreciate you!

@schoolofdesignband I love us the most ❤️

HUM Part 2: Chicago! This trip was very nearly perfect. I ❤️ this city so much. AND meeting @gigigi_giaaa and @stacym.divine was one of the highlights. Would bust a
B!$ch up for you two!

I was so lucky to see HUM with so many wonderful friends this year. And a handful I've been friends with for almost 30 years...I'd say that's some real sh!t. by @samkrayons

Is there even a greater rush than holding a vinyl of your own music?! (TEARS) I'm so thankful for everyone that came out to support our new songs & bought our record! "After The Warmth" is officially streaming everywhere and we still have some limited edition vinyls available on bandcamp (link in bio) ❤️

Eternally grateful for my boys in @schoolofdesignband for making beautiful music with me & a HUGE thanks to Damon Moon @standardelectricrecordersco and @spsmastering (of Slowdive 😵) for making our songs sound magical ✨ by @samkrayons
