FRIEZE LONDON: Sam Leach

This year, Leach will present a new series of paintings at Frieze London, continuing his pioneering research into AI and machine learning technologies.

Through meticulously rendered scenes of animals lounging with luxurious modernist interiors, Leach examines image culture and post human narratives.

Adopting a distanced, scientific approach, he draws connections between data visualisation techniques, semiotics, and formalist abstraction resulting in a kind of reductive aesthetic.

Art isn’t supposed to be touched—or is it?
A Small World Premiere
For the first time ever, this traveling art exhibition can be viewed—and, most importantly, climbed—on a rope climbing wall.
Many thanks to the curator @climbing_pixels for making this unique art exhibition possible.
Thanks to the artists @laurenspecies
@studiostephanballeux @samleach_00 @santiagomacau
The route design was handled by the wonderful @eli.93.xo 🙏
You have several weeks to experience the art firsthand before it leaves Berlin and continues its journey around the world.
