Happy New Year all 🫧 Excited to announce our @renatosbristol residency… taking over the first Saturday of each month.

We’ll be inviting an array of guests down to play, often joined by residents @samlester__ & @tom0lewis.

Approaching two years since we started this and very proud of the tight little community building. Some more exciting news to come about 2026 plans soon.

Our first event of the year comes this Saturday (slightly belated this month due to nye recoveries). Announcement coming in the next couple days. 🥂

All the best for 2026. Looking forward to seeing some of you at the weekend or down the line! 🌀 taken in Bristol, United Kingdom by @samlester__

Agenda for our July residency instalment this Saturday. 🦑

@sif.b_ returns to Bristol for his second sugarcoat appearance, following his set at our 2024 day party.

You may have spotted Harry behind the counter at Phonica, slinging records and sharing his deep musical knowledge. He channels this knowledge into his DJ sets across London’s club circuit, as well as his own productions, which have found homes on labels including Rubber Ducky and Tessellate. Be sure to check his recent rinse show if you haven’t already.🐛

@___plantera are also back on the cards, returning as familiar faces to both sugarcoat and the Bristol scene. Their warm, dubby sound and thoughtful selections have made them firm favourites of ours. 🖖🏻

Resident @samlester__ back on warm up duties.

Less than two weeks to go until we take over the Love Inn, and I am chuffed to invite down some of my good mates and sources of musical inspo, Sam Lester & Plantera.

@samlester__ has been quietly making moves across Bristol’s scene for the last few years. From playing and curating at his residencies at The Trow and Renato’s, warming up for the likes of Jade Seatle and Cristian Sarde for @_____sugarcoat, and peppering the Noods and SWU airwaves, Sam has carved out a signature sound spannning the deeper corners of house, downtempo and beyond. Expect a shimmering selection of hidden gems and understated bangers.

@___plantera are two of the soundest soundboys out there, and they’re set to weave a tapestry of groovy delights. They dig deeper than most and have the record bag to back it up. With a palette rooted in nature, earthly rhythms, and sonic psychedelia, prepare for transportation to other-worldly realms.

sugarcoat down the inn 02/04/26. 🪴

We’re heading to @theloveinnbristol to kick off the Easter bank holiday weekend with a couple of very special guests.

We’re delighted to welcome Jade Seatle, Night Moves co-founder and staple of London’s underground scene, to our favourite Bristol spot.

Slim (Strictly Wax) makes his Love Inn debut and returns for his second sugarcoat appearance. Travelling from Ireland, he brings with him his deep bag that’s already left its mark on platforms such as The Mudd Show and Kiosk radio. If you caught Slim’s previous set at our day party in 2024 then you know!

sugarcoat residents Sam Lester & Tom E-L on support.

Tickets available via headfirst. Early birds are sold out.

(Please note this is a bank holiday Thursday and runs until 4)
