Fray x het wilde oog

Jacket that i made for @hetwilde
This project included: design, pattern making, fittings, sewing and takeing these photo’s. The assignment was to create a baggy fit oversized jacket that would fit my dad perfectly, the model of this photoshoot. The fabric was this beautifull tanned sailing canvas, that had clearly seen some heavy waves

Inspired by the drape and movement of the hijab, this T-shirt features the embroidered word دمشق (Damascus) — the city from which much of my family originates. A place deeply woven into my sense of identity, Syria remains a source of memory, inspiration, and cultural connection. Through garments like this, I continue to explore and reconnect with my heritage.
