I unexpectedly had to say goodbye to my mom a few weeks ago.

To say I’m heartbroken is an understatement. While this time has been filled with sadness and grief, I’m equally grateful for every moment I had with her. Everyone who knew her knew her deep compassion for others. She embodied true, unconditional love.

I don’t know how to imagine the rest of my life without her, but I find comfort in knowing she’s resting peacefully in Heaven.

Momma, I love you so great big, and I’ll miss you forever. by @sammsommerfeld
