I got a chance to speak to a couple of youth basketball teams at West Point Middle School last night! These girls definitely learned so much from my testimony, and I know they will use that to their full advantage! They were a blast to talk to, and I just want to thank God for giving me the chance to talk to these amazing young girls! We all have a purpose in life, and we should take full advantage of it. I was interviewed by a really amazing young girl, and she did a really great job! God has given me the ability to change a lot of people's lives during my time at The Cullman Tribune, and I definitely changed this girl's life as well during this interview! God is so good! by @sammy.confer

Here's me, my big sister, Stephanie, and Sara when we were younger! Tomorrow will be really tough for all of us, as it'll be the 27th anniversary of her death! Me and Sara are doing our best to help keep her memory and legacy alive, and I know she's smiling really big at us right now from heaven! We love you, and we miss you so much right now! This is my older sister, Stephanie, who sadly passed away when I was just 10 in a really scary accident! She's someone that I really looked up to and she was an amazing sister to me and my younger sister, Sara! Every story that I do, every picture that I take, and every life that I touch, is dedicated to her! God blessed me with an amazing sister, and even though her life was cut short at such a young age, she touched so many lives during her short time on this Earth, and that will never be forgotten! I'm picking up from where you left off, and I've touched so many lives during my time on this Earth so far! I hope to continue to make an impact on so many more people's lives! I love you, and I miss you so much, Stephanie! Thank you so much for not only the impact you had on mine and Sara's lives, but so many other people's lives as well! by @sammy.confer

This perfectly describes what I do at The Cullman Tribune, and I've changed so many lives since I started working there almost 7 1/2 years ago! Interviewing well over 100 people has helped me become an even better reporter and it's not always about sports! It's the little things that matter the most, no matter what it is! I'm not just telling stories, I'm changing lives! by @sammy.confer

This is me praying during some games over at Cold Springs earlier this season! God has blessed me with an amazing job and the ability to watch some incredible athletes perform very well on the court! The cheerleaders do an outstanding job as well, putting on some incredible performances during the season! I'm so blessed to be doing this for a living! God is so good! by @sammy.confer

Vinemont's cheerleaders cheered their hearts out during the Eagles' 51-31 win over Brindlee Mountain. Vinemont will take on Susan Moore in the Class 3A, Area 13 championship game Tuesday night! I want to thank these amazing cheerleaders for letting me take this group picture of them! They do a great job, and I'm just blessed to be doing this for a living!

I really want to continue taking pictures of different people, because I want to help create some great memories for them, their friends, and their families.
