🇦🇺 Australia Takes on the Biggest Blading Cup Ever! 🛼

What started as a small street skating demo in Santa Ana, California, in 2011 has grown into one of the world's biggest inline skating festivals.

This year's Blading Cup Asia in Jakarta was the largest yet, with more than 150 skaters from 17 countries. It also marked a major milestone as the first Blading Cup to be officially sanctioned by World Skate as part of the Challenger Series, with valuable world ranking points on the line.

Australia was proudly represented by a contingent of almost 20 athletes, supporters and fellow skaters, making us one of the largest international teams at the event.

While our athletes delivered outstanding performances on the course, the Aussie cheer squad was just as impressive. Bringing together Australia's best skaters, overseas athletes who now call Australia home, and a group of veteran skaters who travelled simply to support the event and reconnect with friends, they created an atmosphere that was impossible to miss. Their passion, encouragement and sportsmanship were felt throughout the weekend and perfectly showcased what the Australian skating community is all about.

@bladingcup founder @jonjulio reflected on the event's growth:

"This event is dear to my heart and showcased the best skating from all 17 countries represented. I can't wait to come back next year."

For Australian skater Rob Kellett, it was the atmosphere that made the weekend so special:

"The vibes. The energy. The people. It's an unforgettable event, and a great place to catch up with friends from all over the world. Can't wait for next year!"

A huge congratulations to everyone who represented Australia—whether competing, cheering from the sidelines, or simply supporting.

Thanks @haydengolder for this amazing photo, and the only proof that I actually landed this trick after the best trick comp 🙄

If anyone has the footage from the event, can you please share it with me.
