He’s building a brotherhood in the community, and surrounding these young athletes with positive role models.

“Off the streets, in your cleats”

Reading head 🏈 coach Troy Godinet understands that sports is about much more than wins and losses!
He’s created a program on Friday nights in the summer to build a brotherhood, and get young athletes around positive role models.
About 150 kids participated tonight.
It was really cool to see former Reading players mentoring the youth.

Dear 2025 Football Season… You provided an opportunity for us to struggle to build strength. An opportunity to be patient and build perseverance. You gave us highs to learn humility and Lows to learn lessons. Seniors who taught underclassmen what faith truly is and what a brotherhood looks like. Last night.. We had our 2nd Annual Decal event. It was an Honor to have Coach/Mr. Butler as our Alumni representative to share his Experiences, Passion, and Love with ouR families. WE are forever thankful for you! This is an oppprtunity for ouR parents and loved ones to help their Red Knights place the Knights Decal which represents commitment, respect, love, passion of the past, present, and future on their helmets. ouR family is continuing to grow! If you know me. You know how much I Loved being a Safe School Officer with the Reading School District. I built a lot of relationships over the years with staff, faculty, and most importantly ouR students. I genuinely fell in love with the job because of the impact you can create and the individuals I worked with and for! But over the spring, I made a commitment to build a better relationship with God. I have been far from perfect. But God has been moving in my life and called for me to make a change. So here I am. Mr. Godinet!
