For over 40 years, @yfslogan has gone above and beyond to support Queenslanders in need.

Some of the crucial services they provide involve housing, domestic and family violence, youth, employment, legal and financial support.

The Logan-based community organisation has quite literally saved lives, and it’s just entered a new phase with a new look.

‘YFS’ now stands for ‘Your Future Story’ - and with such a strong history of setting Queenslanders up for success, it couldn’t have been named any better.

The new chapter is all about focusing on the future, while maintaining the same purpose.

We’re ensuring the voices of our next generation are heard - and there’s no better example than what’s happening this week inside Queensland Parliament 🏛️

93 young Queenslanders from every corner of our state are spending the next few days sitting in the same seats MPs do and sharing the ideas and issues that matter to them as part of the 2026 @ymcaqyp 🗣️

Our Crisafulli Government is proud to be delivering more support for this fantastic program, giving more young Queenslanders an even bigger platform.

These 28 factory-built social homes in Nanango are now all finished and fully tenanted with vulnerable Queenslanders who needed a place to call home!

After a decade where an annual average of just 509 social homes were added across Queensland, we delivered 1,711 new social and community homes in our first full financial year - and there’s thousands more homes on the way.

With a record $5.7 billion investment over the next four years alone, we’re doing more than any government has before to turn around the housing crisis.

Elaine never thought she’d end up homeless.

The grandmother, who is also a retired teacher, was living in her car with her dog Lilly when local police put her in contact with our Housing team.

Now, Elaine and Lilly are settling into our recently completed 31-unit community housing complex in Banya, near Caloundra.

She says it’s completely changed her life, and she’s been loving the new atmosphere created by Coast2Bay.

Elaine’s already made plenty of friends - and I can confirm their communal garden they’ve established together is outstanding!

Because of our record investments into delivering housing supply, Queensland now has more social and affordable homes underway than ever before - more than 7,000 homes.
