Overall Size: 945x500mm.

Display Method: Three archival pigment prints top aligned and pinned using small steel nails. Prints 1 and 3 are left loose at the bottom and allowed to curl slightly.

Sam P. Cashmore (b. 1999) is a Bristol-based artist whose work emerges from an intense dialogue with the landscape, particularly (but not limited to) the South West of England, where he grew up. His work often places romanticised views onto often overlooked and liminal spaces. His portraits attempt to illustrate the relationship between the subject, the landscape, the viewer, the camera, and the photographer.

A couple of images I took on my iPhone of last week’s solar eclipse, made in homage to Guido Guidi. 🌑🌙

I was working at the time of the eclipse, but managed to pop out briefly and was blessed by the pinhole projections of the sun’s light passing through the giant beech tree that watches over the street.

I’ve always loved this series of photographs by Guidi and couldn’t stop thinking about them in this moment. 💫

July ❤️

Just over two weeks (‼️) until ‘Syntony’ opens. I’ve still got lots of frames to make and prints to… print… but I cannot wait to share this work with you all. 💫

I’m a little late in sharing this, but happy solstice 2026 🌞 Here are some images I made last night during the final few hours of light. It felt fitting to start with the moth cocoons. 💫
