Some bits and pieces from a recent branding project for a retail development in Solvang, CA. One cool piece was to design a ghost sign for the side of the building. Had fun using @taylorpenton typefaces. by @sample_co

Visit @sampletype_co . I’ve been jamming on some fonts lately. I was tentative to hop into such a saturated space, but I really just wanted to build typefaces that I could use for various projects. Also, I wanted to design fonts that aren’t currently available (or I’m just unaware of). Some of these are ready to go .otf files, some still WIP. The idea is for these fonts to be slightly imperfect, display typefaces. Most of these fonts were inspired by vintage painted signs, packaging, stamps, etc. I’m curious to know if any of these are resonating with y’all. What else would you like to see in the font world? by @sample_co

Collected style sheets from the work presented. We tried to stay true to Ford’s heritage while presenting merch work in a new light. The Best Never Rest……. by @sample_co
