I’ve spent the last few weeks trying to put this experience into words, and ultimately, I am just incredibly grateful for this community. Being nominated by @belmontsapb — an organization and team that has defined my Belmont experience, was a full-circle moment. Over the past four years, we’ve been fortunate to plan events that make this place and these people feel like home, and I’m so proud of what we’ve accomplished. This recognition is a reflection of our entire team, and I’m excited to finish my last year with y’all. More than anything, this weekend reminded me how lucky I am to have found a community that has shaped me in ways I never could have imagined. When I first came to Belmont, I wasn’t sure where I’d fit in. I’ve always been someone who could get along with anyone, but finding a true sense of belonging was something I hadn’t really experienced. From day one, this community has welcomed me in, showing me genuine kindness and so much more throughout my time here. I can only hope to have shared even a fraction of the love I’ve received. To me, this recognition represents the people, experiences, and moments that have made this community unforgettable.
