New year, new me?
Abto 2023 ka free trial month bhi khatam ho gya hai, February se fadenge! :)

The year 2022 had me do all sorts of crazy, and live to tell the tale --- most certainly not like YJHD types, but more of a Sam version of it, iykyk.

Last year, around this time I posted: 'Congratulations dear,
On making it through 2021. It was tough, challenging, full of ups and downs, emotionally draining --- most importantly fun.'

This time around I wouldn't have to do that, ain't like I gave up, which in hindsight, I might have, lol; but last year had hope; last year had opportunities; last year had ups; last year had me do things on an average day, I wouldn’t have; last year made me identify the voids there were; last year made me accept my flaws; last year gave me the time to understand myself at the same time others without me literally having a breakdown; last year was an example it shouldn't hurt me raising boundaries; last year taught me to be assertive without feeling guilty about it; last year taught me to communicate my boundaries; last year taught me to enjoy the little moments; last year taught me to have my moments without those having to be a reward for a productive task; it taught me to be humble and yet whoop some asses in the process; it did bring me to my place, but I am thankful for it; last year was all about dabbling and a constant fight between the one outside and the one inside, the people-pleaser in me took a back seat and I am grateful for it.

I was reminded of Kelly Clarkson's 'What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger' time and time again --- and for some reason, life took it as a challenge :)

I sure was, made to reinvent; jump in and out of my comfort zone. Is it weird to make a non-comfort zone your comfort zone? Do you still have to get in and out of it as often?

Anyways, hoping I muster the courage to post unapologetically; hoping every time I make a story, I don’t delete it because I have looked at it enough times; hoping I do aim higher every time somebody imposes their insecurity saying I can't; hoping I don't lower my standards because the options are limited; hoping I face the future head on!
