homemade cava inspired bowl 🥗

ingredients:
chicken cutlets
cava harissa dip & tzatziki dip
arugula
rice
tomatoes
scallions
cauliflower
red onion
brussel sprouts
carrots
honey
feta cheese
garlic

instructions:
chop up all your veggies and place them on two separate baking sheets and roast them at 425 degrees for 18-20 minutes. to make the “hot honey harissa” sauce, I added butter, garlic, and scallion whites to a pan. I then added honey and a couple tablespoons of the cava harissa dip (depending on how sweet or spicy you want, add more honey for sweetness and more harissa for spicy) once that simmers I add a splash of water until it thickened up. I then wiped out the pan and added in my chicken cutlets and cooked them 3-5 mins per side. then, assemble your bowls with arugula, rice, your roasted veggies, chicken, and dips! I cut up some tomatoes and added feta cheese as well.

if you combined a buffalo chicken wrap with a caesar salad wrap…you would get this masterpiece🤌🏻

the BEST buffalo chicken wrap i’ve ever had at @towngrillmanasquan 🙌 boneless chicken gets tossed with a semi-hot buffalo sauce and paired with caesar salad in a garlic herb wrap. we also ordered the coconut chicken wrap, also an 11/10. their coconut chicken is wrapped inside a flour tortilla with mixed greens, fresh strawberries, and a drizzle of honey mustard 🍯and the waffle fries ….. a must.

one of our favorite places in englewood with gorgeous views and incredible food/menu. my dad & I split a bunch of apps and ordered two desserts😋 10’s across the board with every dish, but if we had to rank:
5. crab cake
4. fried avocado
3. beet salad
2. street corn
1. seared ahi tuna (BEST tuna we’ve ever had)
desserts were also top notch, but the homemade cinnamon donuts with homemade whipped cream took 1st place over the key lime pie. amazing experience as always!🤍 taken in Englewood Beach by @samsplates

my highly requested hawaiian chicken🍍sheet pan recipe!
•
ingredients:
fresh pineapple (makes a difference)
yellow, orange & red bell pepper
red onion
zucchini
chicken breast or thigh (depending on your preference)
cilantro
•
instructions:
preheat your oven to 375
let chicken marinate in drained pineapple juice and polynesian sauce (I used primal kitchens) and season to your liking
dice all your veggies evenly with pineapple
toss everything on a sheet pan with olive oil, coconut aminos, salt & pepper
bake for around 30 minutes, tossing everything half way
serve with coconut or jasmine rice & top with cilantro!

our first stop on our college reunion hometown tour was kent island! we were greeted and shown around by the lovely @pbergeron_ and her sister @lillybergeron_ showing us all the best spots😆I also ate crab for the first time!! scary but fun! such an amazing trip❤️my favs we’re definitely the hush puppies (which i’ve also never had before) and of course, sweet frog froyo🐸 🍦😋 taken in Kent Island, Maryland by @samsplates
