Stalactite Shelves by @samtavill 10” H x 5.5” D x 18” W The Stalactite Shelves reference the organic formations found within caves, where time, gravity, and natural processes slowly shape fluid, sculptural forms. The series translates these geological qualities into functional objects, combining their naturally eroded silhouettes with softly rounded, contemporary surface forms. Capturing a sense of gradual growth and erosion, each piece explores how different materials can transform the same form into distinctly different expressions. Available for purchase now! www.colorblob.com #interiordesign #contemporarydesign #design #modernfurniture #furniture “Erosion” - Cork and Black Resin “Ice” - Polished Hand Dyed Resin “Seaglass” - Frosted Hand Dyed Resin “Galaxy” - Rainbow Thread and Resin “Night Moss” - Green Quartz Sand and Resin taken in Bushwick, Brooklyn by @samtavill

• Coil Table Lamp • This cement table lamp began as a 3D-printed form, refined by hand before a silicone mold was made to capture the final surface. The piece was cast in cementitious plaster, then dyed with India ink and finished with a black wax, creating subtle variations in tone across the surface. The surface reads as naturally weathered and patinated, with tonal shifts that resist uniformity and feel time-aged. The open, spiraling geometry allows light to move through the form, softening the mass of the cement and emphasizing the contrast between weight and glow. • • • • • • • • • #design #modernfurniture #tablelamp #contemporaryfurniture #collectibledesign taken in Bushwick Brooklyn by @samtavill

• Twist Side Table • This side table is 3D powder printed in black sand by @sandhelden in Germany, using a binder-jet process that allows the form to feel both solid and eroded at once. After printing, the piece was dyed with India ink to push the surface to an even deeper black, emphasizing the soft, continuous geometry. A black mirror is inset into the top, creating a reflective contrast to the matte sand texture and shifting the top surface between object and a void depending on the light. 25” H × 15” Ø • • • • • • • • • • #design #modernfurniture #sidetable #contemporaryfurniture #collectibledesign taken in Bushwick Brooklyn by @samtavill

• Sticky Mirror V1 • This mirror is designed to evoke a sticky - slimy sensation, inviting the observer to explore the contrast between textures. The clean matte outer edge and front plane sharply oppose the high-gloss, organic forms within, creating a captivating dynamic quality. I wanted it to feel as though a pipe had been sliced open, revealing the viscous, stretching, ominous goo inside. This piece is inspired by @arleneshechet’s exploration of contrasts between matte and gloss finishes. It was 3D-printed in multiple parts and finished with automotive coatings to achieve a sleek, durable, and tactile design. 24” Diameter x 3.375” Depth DM for inquiries! • • • • • • • • • #sculpture #design #art #3dprinting #3dprint #mirror #artfurniture #contemporaryfurniture #organicforms #modernfurniture #viscose #3d #stav6 #slime #slimy #111 #matte #gloss #contrast #alien #strangerthings #strange #automotivepaint #contemporaryart #modernart #furniture #black #tar #sticky #contrast taken in Bushwick Brooklyn by @samtavill
