After months of preparation, SAM Tech students and instructors are ready to put their engine-building skills to the test at the Race Engine Challenge in Charlotte, North Carolina!

The team hit the road at 5 AM Thursday, making the long haul from Houston ahead of tomorrow’s horsepower competition.

SAM Tech’s EFI Calibration students are putting the school’s ’57 Chevy to work on the chassis dyno, learning how to nitrous tune with a Nitrous Outlet twin plate kit for increased horsepower and performance.

From fuel delivery and ignition timing to nitrous calibration, students gain hands-on experience with the technology and techniques used throughout the high-performance automotive industry.
