Yesterday @wereloudfest I found myself standing with @deathfromdetroit who carved proto-punk into the universe before the world even had a name for it
For a few minute,time stopped.
Energy shifted.
History breathed.

To share space with legends who rewrote the rules long before rules existed man,that’s the kind of moment you don’t just remember you carry it.

From Detroit to Nairobi,from punk to skateboarding to Hiphop rebellion speak the same language.

Greatful, inspired charged up for the path ahead.

Lake Turkana tomfoolery 🇰🇪

Last month we took the initiative to skateboard across Kenya on a campaign #pushforchange we took 14 days to get to Lodwar from Nairobi with an initiative to fundraise and build a skatepark for the skate community in Turkana while also spreading peace and unity across the regions while spreading awareness of this beautiful lifestyle #skateboarding

THROWBACK THURSDAY 🕰️🔥 | #Hiphopstories

I came across a podcast where @Jurskee breaks down the difference between dancing for the culture and dancing for the crowd. He also talks about what he calls money moves. 👀

It got me thinking about our own journey in Kenyan breaking.

One of my favourite memories is the Kenyan Breaking Championship, where breakers from different parts of the country came together in Nairobi to battle, connect and share the culture. 🇰🇪🕺🏾

That experience inspired me to start teaching breaking professionally.

I met kids I didn't even know, and some of them told me they had been inspired by me just by watching my videos. That really touched me. ❤️

It made me look at my purpose differently from just dancing to sharing street knowledge, positive content and something that can reach people, even those I may never meet.

You never really know who's watching. 👀

🔥 YESTERDAY IN NAIROBI TOPROCK WITH DJIBRIL 🇰🇪🇧🇪

Yesterday we pulled up for the Red Bull BC One All Star Tour Africa workshop and had the opportunity to learn Toprock from @bboydjibril_stitch from Belgium. 🕺🏾🔥

Toprock is not just about the steps. It’s about musicality, character, rhythm and how you enter the cypher. Every move has a story, and every dancer brings their own flavour.

Big respect to Djibril for sharing his knowledge and energy with the Kenyan breaking community. 🙏🏾❤️
And salute to @redbullbcone One for bringing international knowledge and culture to Kenya. 🇰🇪🌍
We came to learn. Now it’s time to take it to the cypher. 🔥
