Many years back I said to a man.

Yo there's this 16 year old kid at @bcfc doing mad stuff. He's a player you know.

Bossing games, leggy box to box, no fear and goals. Watch out for him you know.

I also read about him in the book Micheal Calvin's the Nowhere men. A book about football scouts

A man said he ain't all that. I said he's 16 in cm how can he not be all that playing mens football.

Yesterday day and night party was lovely at @soulfusion_house . @grooveassassin and @gavinpetersdj shelled the day.

Then in the night we were given a masterclass of atmospheric deep house by @masaki_m2soul_nrc . That was like church for real.

@djbooker_t brought us home with the kings of Soul bump, groove and flava. Niceness 🎹🔊🕺🏿🎧🔉🎛😎

No matter the level, the feeling of winning and the celebrations that follow never lose their magic.

More than 2,000 fans, a record crowd at this level, packed into the Old Spotted Dog to watch @claptoncfc defeat @rayleightownfc 4–2 after extra time and secure promotion to the Essex Senior League. The scenes at the end were just what the beautiful game is about.

It was more than just a match; it was an occasion in the shadow of near neighbours @leytonorientfc and @westham .

This club full of life and identity. The ultras sang throughout, the craft beer flowed and flags waved.

It’s a special place to watch football. safe, inclusive, and genuinely fun. Child friendly and intimidation.

Where else can you grab a jerk wrap, sip a Red Stripe, and hear revival reggae booming in the clubhouse after a game?

The match itself wasn’t straightforward. Rayleigh Town gave everything, even after being reduced to nine men, battling right until the final whistle. Their efforts must be credited.

Huge props to manager @mr_ocran , the players, along with the staff and volunteers who drive the club forward. This is a club on the rise, now stepping into Step 5 football after a string of promotions.

And on a serious note: for young players with ambition to play higher, if I were you I'd get down there and use the platform to gain some experience and become a hero in the process.
