Celebrating five consecutive years of my show Kraut Spice selling out the iconic Water Rats!
One more year and I’ll start a letter-writing campaign to get my photo immortalised next to the toilet! 🚽✨

I’m so grateful to everyone who’s come along two hours, nine costume changes, two wind machines, and one flying shark later! 🦈

Huge thanks to Steven, who makes the show look so much bigger; @stotton_will and @chloe.dodd.313 , the best most wonderful tech peeps I could ever ask for; @andy__perkins for always capturing the most incredible footage; and everyone at @the_water_rats ! ✌🏻🇩🇪🇬🇧 taken in The Water Rats by @samuelchz

Me last year: You know what would be a bucket-list item? Meeting the cast of The Nanny and telling them how much their work meant to little German me.

Me this year: !!

From London to Palm Springs to LA to Hartford.

I learned so much about comedic timing watching them. I still sometimes watch the Wasabi clip before going on stage.

Always meet your heroes!
PS: it took me ages to find a matching Maxwell tie

Bucket list moment: I got to tour Walt Disney's actual office in Burbank, hold his Oscar, and see the Sherman Brothers' piano. The birthplace of so much.

There were three of us in this marriage.

Pilgrimage to see THAT dress.

One of the most iconic dresses in fashion history 👗✨ Princess Diana’s legendary “Revenge Dress” is currently on display in London. Worn by Diana in 1994 on the same night Prince Charles publicly acknowledged his affair, the daring black Christina Stambolian dress became an enduring symbol of confidence, independence and taking control of your own narrative. More than just a dress, it captured a pivotal moment in Diana’s public life.

Not another legend! 💔
Tim Curry was as sharp as could be, despite his health challenges. I grew up on Home Alone 2, and then really grew up on Rocky.🥺

Dolly Parton's last ever UK 'performance'. The most legendary nail clicking of all time.

In February 2019, back when camera phones weren't anywhere near as clear, I decided to go to the One Show to see if I might get a glimpse of Dolly Parton performing. To my surprise, she introduced the cast of her 9 to 5 musical outside. I was debating if I should film it, but I'm so glad I did. I believe this was the last time she 'performed in the UK'.

May she rest in power! #dollyparton #9to5 #dolly #dollywood by @samuelchz

Heartbroken. There are not many people I would venture all the way into the Smoky Mountains for (actually, there is only one). I mean, if you follow me, you know how much she meant to me. So glad I got to do my pilgrimage to Dollywood while she was still around. There will never be anyone like Dolly Parton.
