🇸🇱🏏 HISTORIC MILESTONE FOR ME SAMUEL CONTEH IN MEN'S T20l ! 🏏🇸🇱

Pace bowler Samuel Conteh yesterday became the 2nd player in Cricket Sierra Leone to complete 50 wickets in Men’s T20 Internationals! 🔥💪

My 50th scalp was Botswana captain Thatayaone Tshose, yesterday, during our match against Botswana in the ILT20 Continental Cup 2026.

It took me just 45 innings to reach 50 wickets in the Men’s T20I format. 🙏🏏

All glory and thanks to God Almighty for His grace and guidance throughout this journey. I am also deeply grateful to my family, our Honourable Chairman of Cricket Sierra Leone, my national and international coaches, friends, and loved ones for their constant motivation, encouragement, and support.

Cricket has become a major part of my life, and I will continue to work hard, stay disciplined, humble, and committed to improving my game and representing Sierra Leone 🇸🇱 with pride.

50 wickets achieved. The journey is far from over.
The hunger remains. The work continues. The dream is still alive. 🔥🏏💪

Congratulations, Samuel Conteh! 🇸🇱👏
For God. For Family. For Sierra Leone. 🇸🇱❤️🏏

National duty alert 💪🇸🇱🏏

Sierra Leone 🇸🇱 vs Botswana 🇧🇼 — our first match, second game tomorrow at 2PM in the afternoon! 🔥

The journey begins now as we step onto the field to solve the “maths” of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Sub-Regional Africa Qualifier A 🏆📈. Every run scored, every wicket taken, and every victory earned brings us one step closer to the bigger dream.

This is the moment to execute everything we’ve worked for, trust the process, fight for one another, and represent Mama Salone with pride, passion, unity, and determination. 💪🙏🇸🇱 taken in Botswana,Gaborone by @samuelconteh20

After seven years of competing in the Cricket senior men's T20 Premier League, I was honored to lift the trophy yesterday as Captain of Midwest Cricket Club.

I give all thanks and glory to God Almighty. My sincere appreciation goes to the Midwest management, coaching Staff, the players, my family, fans, and friends for their unwavering support throughout this journey.

Your belief and encouragement carried us to the Grand Final, where we achieved this historic success together.

Well deserved. He is a true legend—humble, respectful, and a model of professionalism. I sincerely appreciate the hospitality extended to me during my time in Dubai with him at Sharjah Warriorz. It was a valuable opportunity and a privilege to learn from Sikandar Raza, the ICC World No. 1 T20 all-rounder and ICC World No. 2 ODI all-rounder.

In addition, I had the honor of training, learning, and playing alongside world-class coaches like JP Duminy one of the greatest former South Africa all-rounder and elite world class players international players such as Tim Southee, (New Zealand greatest former bowler), Dinesh Karthik (former India wicketkeeper-batsman), Tim David, Johnson Charles (West Indies), Mark Chapman( New Zealand), Taskin Ahmed (Bangladesh 🇧🇩), Kusal Mendis, Maheesh Theekshana, and Matheesha Pathirana (Sri Lanka). These are among the outstanding players I worked with during the DP World ILT20 Franchise League (4th Edition) last year. by @samuelconteh20
