I don’t even know what to say. You all know how much I love her. I have had at least 50 people reach out and let know they thought of me like I lost an actual family member. I’ve been slowly working on a whole collection of Dolly inspired works. The world has lost a great light and I am devastated. by @samuelhatmaker

I never run unless something is chasing me. I am proud that I could finish a 5k, let alone coming in the top 30% of runners. It was a magical weekend. I also climbed a tree, forgetting how hard it would be to get down without the bark ripping me apart. by @samuelhatmaker

Went to the Academy Museum today (it was free) to see the new Marilyn Monroe exhibit. As we left, we crossed over the new D Subway line grate and the air blew my dress up. My friend captured this amazing picture. by @samuelhatmaker

Happy 100th birthday to Marilyn Monroe. I was obsessed with her in high school and have seen Gentlemen Prefer Blondes more than 50 times. She died young, so we never saw her age or fade, so she will go on as an icon forever. by @samuelhatmaker
