My Hitchhikers, thank you, thank you. 💫

It’s been a dream of mine for a while to bring together some of the islands amazing performers, actors, artists and creatives for something as special as a Solar eclipse.

On 12 August, I got that chance thanks to the syzygy alignment of three celestial bodies, a once in a lifetime occurrence in Ibiza. Oh and my birthday.

For those that came down, thank you, for the energy, smiles and genuine curiosity. You trusted us with your eclipse, and that means a great deal.

The event took a village to put on and we could not be more proud of the incredibly talented souls who pulled this together. To everyone who built this thing a huge thank you:

Until the next time. To strange encounters, cosmic travelers, celestial feasts, and one shadow crossing the sun. Entirely unrepeatable.

With so much love and gratitude,

Very rarely do I post photos from the burn, but each year for 11 years I’ve taken over 1500 photos on my handy little Sony a7r for my private memories.

This year, my 11th will be different. I made a commitment to myself to be free, to come in with 0 responsibilities, 0
Commitments.

After 9 years running a burning man camp with an incredible team, that’s a big thing to throw on them. But they not only stepped up but have been so incredibly supportive and just boss organizers all around.

I have no idea what to expect, but that’s the whole point, I have 0 expectations. I’ll wander, adventure, make new friends, end up in random places, incredible conversations, dusty smiles across my face. If you see me, let’s ride.

This year has taught me so much, and every lesson a new version of me. The burn will be no exception.

Time to get dusty.
Love yah.

I live in my island paradise, my dream home. All thanks to Covid and the incredible chance it gave me to uproot from the concrete jungle that is london (which I still love) to the lucious sun, sea and nature just a short breeze away.

But the truth is every treasure needs to be shared, and every treasure costs a treasure to keep its shine. So I invite you to come and take it for a week, contribute, and leave with a smile, plus imbuing a little more happy energy into the house and into you.

It’s free Aug 18th - Sep 7th and some weeks after that in September and October.

Say hi 🧡 by @samuelmathews

39 summers in, I think I’m starting to get it.

This year has been a wild ride but I wouldn’t change a thing.

When life throws you waves, it seems the trick is just to ride.

And to surround yourself with people who love it just the same.

Our island, my island. A letter to Ibiza.

There once was an estranged Australian English boy, living life on the edge, never calling a place home. Always on the move, finding the next groove.

But Covid came, and said no more. Stop. Breathe. Listen, it’s time to find a place, a space to grow.

I landed here for what was meant to be a month, but what I found was home. Home in nature, nuturing me back to a love affair with the sand, the sea, the air, the energy.

Magnetically sealing me in place for the next 4 years, and who knows how many more? With a new family, sharing and caring, when mine was 17,000 km away.

When my mum arrived, I cried, 2.5 years of no family, I could show her this special place, that so many caring hands have held for 1000’s of years.

Broken again I came back in December, only to fall in love all over again, held by an undercurrent, a flow, that slows even the most rapidly beating heart.

Peaceful, powerful, step by step, the island (it’s a she) she shows me the light, the sunrise and sunset, the ones on sea or inside me.

I wake up again full and free, proud to be me. A man now, ready and strong, to tackle the next chapter, in life’s adventure. Living on our island, that loves and gives to all that seek.

Thank you ❤️‍🔥

It’s been 3 years… and it may have been worth the wait.

Bringing the @camp_serendipitea community together to throw ‘A LUCID DAY DREAM’ was the most fun I’ve had since the mask apocalypse.

Thanks for all that came, danced, smiled and made me the happiest human behind a deck in a long time.

Let’s do it again soo, yeah?

Very proud to be no.6 in the Most innovative Gaming Companies of 2021 behind Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo, and Nvidia!

This one is extra special to me, especially their line 'For upgrading esports teams into elite status'.
We've had our fair share of pushback @fnatic on our performance product-led strategy, from doubters to straight haters. 'Hardware is hard', 'you'll never be able to build your own products..'. 'no one will buy...' well it grew 60% in 2020 and we're still only just beginning.

This is a first...

Super excited to announce that we're opening up the ability own a piece of @fnatic, through equity crowdfunding platform Crowdcube.

Our community has built us, they coined #alwaysfnatic, now it's time to shape us.

For my friends, come join the fun. We're building the future of gaming, sport, the future of entertainment!

This year was hard one for everyone. It was also full of surprises. In my case a very happy one...

I managed to leave London for a time, to Spain for a summer holiday in July. Yes I was lucky... but also very grateful that I could get a chance to spend some moments in human connection again. Seeing a few of my best friends for the first time this year.

Living alone through covid in a 1 bed in London, can get lonely. Just know, that no matter your situation, your friends are still there, and rooting for you.

16 years a go I started a gaming company.
Today were living the future. What a ride.

I've spent many weekends in covid walking, cycling, running, talking, and discovering anew. The raw beauty of London devoid of nights out, of Ubers of pubs or bars, of restaurants or anything but the best company of 4 great friends.
My lockdown crew, my household, My circle.
Thanks for keeping me sane.
