This year has been a bit of a roller coaster.

Looking back, there’s a lot I’ve learnt from my past. Right now, there are still plenty of doubts, challenges and experiences shaping who I am. And looking ahead, there’s a future I’m still figuring out and building for myself.

But maybe that’s what it’s all about.

The good, the bad, the uncertainty and everything in between all shape you and build character.

I’m grateful for where I’ve been, present in where I am, and excited for where I’m going.

Still learning. Still growing. Still becoming. taken in Melbourne, Australia by @samuelpyke_

It’s a bit late for the annual Summer Jam post but we’ve finally got there! 😅

A huge thank you to the Nike and Summer Jam families for another incredible year. ❤️

This year felt a bit different for me. I took a step back from basketball work and life itself, which was a lot to take in. It was tough but I needed it.

Now I’m focused on healing, resetting and truly appreciating things. Sometimes we say we do but deep down we know we haven’t.

One thing I’ve realised this year is that God’s plan works differently to ours. Some of the things I prayed for have started happening in unexpected ways.

I’m grateful for the journey, the people who’ve stuck around (plus those whom have supported me and asked about me), and everyone who’s been part of it so far.

More hoops, more growth and probably more late posts to come. Love ❤️ taken in Melbourne, Australia by @samuelpyke_

I don’t know about you all, but this year is all about “New Year, better me.” I’m looking forward to new opportunities and memories for the year, so stay tuned! I’m here to stay.
