Great Yarmouth. July 2026

My second visit to the great Great Yarmouth. My favourite spot here has sadly gone, Ivys Cafe, fear not though I have it already, but you know, I like to revisit old friends, like a dog that once found some food in a park and can't help but try and try again. It's amazing place Great Yarmouth, some of the roads near the port are so massive you can't help but feel tiny. Ten minutes later you're next to the fairground. I finally got to see some of @stevesfruitys magnificent fruit machine collection last week at @merrivaletearoom in Great Yarmouth. I’m so grateful to Stevie for introducing me to these incredible machines and the other collectors I’ve met. It’s a work in progress, but the illustrations, prompts, and colours are as enticing as ever. I never really played fruit machines; they used to scare me, and I think they still do! I also hadn’t really noticed how provocative they are, but this era is something special. The colours are so rich, even now, 40-something years later. Crocs showroom. Paris June 2026

I’m so excited to share some of my work for @crocs at the SS 2026 Paris Fashion Week! Crocs created an idyllic showroom—clean, modern, unfussy, and restorative—to showcase next year’s collection.

It was a joy to capture the space, made easy by @wademichaels’ incredible artistic direction, bespoke incense holders and a huge 3D wishing well fountain for the @wearebraindead, which is nuts on reflection. Amazing experience to be involved at any level, super lovely team and talented designers. Loved it. taken in Paris, France by @samuelryde

Church of San Eugenio, Bologna. June 2026

Architect: Luciano Lullini. Built between the early 1960s and 1971.

36 hours in Italy: Pisa, Montecatini, Florence, Modena, and finally, Bologna. I had done so much by the time I reached Bologna that I nearly forgot why I was there. About 80% of me wanted to put it off, but I jumped on a city bike and cycled over. This church series has taken me to some amazing suburbs all over the world, and I’m excited to see how many more I can find.
I couldn’t find a place to lock my bike, so I ended up running around, capturing these photos with only five minutes to spare—which, in a way, I actually liked. There was no time for messing around. Straight back on the bike and off to the airport. Bang. 36 amazing hours. I always push myself on these trips, but this was another level. taken in Bologna, Italia by @samuelryde

Seven years to the day, so feels like a good to repost these for people who might not have seen them the first time round. The peeling paint was always my favourite shot from these so wanted to lead with it this time. I've been desperate to go back but they've stopped tours until the war ends.
