I'm excited to announce I will be attending the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University to study cello performance this fall. I'd like to thank my teachers, Helen Ford and especially Jenny Farny, who has been with me from the beginning and brought me all the way here, and my parents for making this whole thing work. by @samuelungar

Bach sarabande. I think I've pretty much figured out my phrasing here, just need to be a little more precise with intonation. Also considering adding more dynamic contrast, or just playing louder for practical purposes, but not sure about either of those yet. (Also I should probably stop scowling, maybe) by @samuelungar

Week 1/7 done! I had an amazing time working with the great cellists here and improving technique and polishing repertoire. Even though it was only a few days, I really think I'm going to miss all the great people I met here. taken in Interlochen Center for the Arts by @samuelungar

I'm excited to be performing a cello-piano recital program with my dad on Saturday, June 7, at 7 pm in Wheeler Hall! Program highlights are Shostakovich's cello sonata in D minor and Chopin's Introduction and Polonaise Brilliante. Anyone is welcome to attend, and admission is free.
