DAN: GLOBAL STAGE HOLLYWOOD POST CARDS. I got back to Toyama today from my Hollywood trip! I’m exhausted but really satisfied with everything that went down with our participation in the GlobalStage Hollywood Film Festival! I was excited for our “Mysterious Pond” premiere and also for “Glass Dragon” on which I served as an Executive Producer, but ALL the films were amazing and I got to chat with all the stars who came to present their films! Here are some of my favorite “Post cards” from the festival and a little free time I had to get out and around LA! Next stop is our Japan premiere, Oct. 24 in Tokyo, Odaiba! #samuraidansmith taken in TCL Chinese 6 Theatres by @samurai_dan_smith

WE ROCKED GLOBAL STAGE HOLLYWOOD! I Just wrapped up Day 4 of my trip to Hollywood for the World Premiere of our Aurora Borealis Entertainment film, “Mysterious Pond!” So many fans, friends & family came to see the premiere as part of the Global Stage Hollywood Film Festival at the TCL Chinese Theater on Hollywood Blvd. I also enjoyed the comaraderie we enjoyed with actors, actresses, producers and directors from some of th other films in the festival. And we also came away with a new partnership deal with the VH2-TV network and its CEO Daryll Triplett! I also got in a little LA sight-seeing! As we head back to Tokyo tomorrow, I am looking forward to the Japan premiere Oct. 24, and seeing the turnout for those going to join us there! #samuraidansmith taken in Hollywood - Los Angeles by @samurai_dan_smith

FINISHED TOKYO - NEXT UP HOLLYWOOD! I completed my whirlwind trip to Tokyo. My trip included an interview with Celebritynews.com; attendance at the Stevie Wonder tribute at Blues Alley Japan - for our Backstage Pass programs; and the Gerald Charles Presentation at the Tokyo American Club, where I caught with Go Mugino and Kyoko Spector. I also managed to meet up with Elliot Segal; former J Club Diva Rinko; and A.B.E.’s Gudni Gudnason! Next stop: Global Stage Hollywood for two films I served as Executive Producer on! The first is our Aurora Borealis Entertainment “Mysterious Pond” directed co-producing partner Gudni Gudnason. The second film is Cosine Entertainment/Eleven Arts Studio’s “Glass Dragon,” directed by Nik Shaw! Maybe I will also take in a Dodgers playoff game! #samuraidansmith by @samurai_dan_smith

I was coordinating with my grandsons Eli and Dre, who were in Houston covering TOKYO X for Backstage Pass. BIG A.B.E. NEWS COMING IN HOLLYWOOD! It seems good news does come in threes in Hollywood for Aurora Borealis Entertainment! First came the news that our “Mysterious Pond” film was accepted to the Oct. 3. 2026 Global Stage Hollywood Film Festival slated for! Then we learned that a second film we served as Executive Producers on, “Glass Dragon” would also be appearing in the film festival, Oct. 3. The third bit of good news came on our TV production side as VH2-TV has announce the network will start airing several ABE series, most notably our “Backstage Pass” program, which now means the series will be streaming in Japan on Buzzfeed and also in America via VH2! #samuraidansmith. WHAT IS YOUR VOTE? あなたの一票は？ People often come up to me in Japan and say, “I know you! You are famous! But I think that is not correct. I am associated with a lot of Hollywood and Japanese stars simply because I Interview them or my TV program’s do. It doesn’t hurt that many times the media exposure I get on Japanese media is because of my proximity to a star like Dave Spector! Anyway I am interested in your vote? “Famous” or “Infamous”? #samuraidansmith by @samurai_dan_smith
