Oh hi hi. October

Hi spooky season.

Im so excited its finally here. I plan to color several pages. Hopefully I can manage.

This is a mandala is from Halloween by @hannakarlzon . Im so excited to finally premiere it. I bought it last year but I was scared of it and I didnt color any page. That felt bad because to me its her best book. Im happy this year it finally happened. Even tho its kind of an easy page.

But this year I have the mentally that Im not going to be scared of any page. I will tackle the pages and Im gonna survive everything. Lmao ( I think? ) 🤣

I like my palette to be honest. Its giving cotton candy skulls in the forest lol. This was done with Castle Arts Autumn set of pencils. I love it. Slide
#2 to see them. When I saw them I was drawn to a particular pencil tray - slide #3 that one is bananas. So cool that I decided to use only those pencils for the illustration. I used almost everything minus the blues.

Im loving what Castle art is doing with the seasons. I already own Spring, summer and this one. Cant wait for winter. Does anyone know something about that one? I hope they release in time for Xmas. That feeling you get when you color a season with the respective pencils is out of this world amazing.

I was very close to stop doing color alongs because Instagram ruined the hashtag system. But you know what? I love them? I love to create ideas and I love to see your interpretations. So the color alongs are here to stay.

Happy Wednesday. Here Im posting a disaster that happened out of nowhere. I didnt know how to color all these flowers and I suddebly ended up doing? Cross hatching? Like I didnt have that plan at all. The worst thing is that I had an urge to almost include all the 150 prismas. It looks like very terrible clothing fabric.

I need to do this technique again. But next time with a decent pallete and result. The zebra saved the situation a bit I think. Because I also had the URGE to include pink dotes so it looks even more of a hot mess lol.

This is for my #threecrazyanimals tag and I did it as a buddy color with my friend Raquel. Her colorings are all amazing. She is an amazing colorist. Me on the other hand? 😂😂😂 50/50 😂

Hello Instagram friends. Hope you are having a good and hopefully relaxing sunday.

Today I oficially participate in #SpaceTember with this buddy color with my friend @coloring_colorado . And we couldnt have chosen a better option for this event: Kerbys Space book.

I had a lot of fun with my version. Originally I planned for my background to just be greens. But one day I was listening to music in the car and Spotify was playing Better Place by @nsync. I saw the covert art and I thought. Wow. I want the background to be this colorful. So thats my inspo for the background. You can see the cover art on the 3rd slide. Proof inspo can come from anywhere out of the blue

I also had a particular plan for the astronaut. She was going to be pink. But I had a problem lol. That outfit is huge and I struggle to color big spaces. Out of the blue I decided to use some very cheap neon pastels instead.

The orange, pink and yellow neon ones. Slide #4.

I used them and problem solved. Now she is a vibrant neon female. For the tree trunk I used Neocolor 2. The weird insects and other elements were done with my trusty prismas.

The result? I like it. It turned exotic, strange and kinda fun I think. Literally out of this world lol

My friend Raquel did a stunning work with hers. I love her version a lot. Her vibrant colors are amazing. Collage on the 2nd slide

Hello guys. Happy Tuesday. Today is the last day of the Virgo sign. And to say goodbye to it I have teamed with @coloring_colorado and @ro_bioflower_art to say goodbye to it.

You can check the wonderful versions of my friends on the 2nd slide.

I had a lot of fun doing my version and I like the result. It turned very dreamy I think. The whole page is done in Prismas.

Its from Cosmic Spirit by Fabiana Attanasio.

I love coloring the zodiac signs and anything astrology. So this book is the perfect excuse everytime I do it. Ive done 4 so far.

I also dedicate this post to Rocio @ro_bioflower_art because today is her bday. Feliz cumpleaños Rocio. Que sean muchos mas.

They did a fantastic job. As for me? I put random colors everywhere 😂 I didnt want to think lol. The result? A random explosion of colors 😂

I premiered my Castle Art Summer pencils. I love them and its amazing that you can do stuff like this. Color a water theme picture using them during summer. That feeling is something else lol.

I want the autumn season ASAP

Ive completed a little more than the half the book. But its taken me 5 years. 😵‍💫 So see you completed Circle in 2030? 😵‍💫

SO Rules

🐧 Find any type of illustration of either penguins, zebras or pandas and give them crazy colors. Poor animals they exist only in black or white. Lets make them happy. Color a rainbow zebra, a green panda, or pink penguins. Whatever counts as long as you give them a makeover from that traditional black & white.

The Island of Capri is a land of cliffside villages, limoncello and blue, blue water. Its also a land of luxury fashion - and luxurious relaxation......reads the text describing the illustration I colored.

I was immeditaly transported back to the time I went to Italy to buy the liqueur. But I wasnt actually in Capri. It was in Sorrento in the Amalfi Coast. Great trip. A picture in the last slide.

This is the entry for my own color along #coloryourclothing I decided to use a very summer type of palette. Perfect for this picture. You can see me wearing the outfit on the 2nd slide. I literally colored clothes for my color along.

Its from the book called The World of Fashion by Megan Hess - 3rd slide. This book is a masterpice. Ive never seen something like this in the coloring community. You can color fashion from iconic brands like Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Dior, Valentino, Channel and so on. Its a dream come true if you love fashion. Its easy to buy on Amazon.

I think I did a good job to be honest 😅 The wide spaces were done pretty quickly with my PanPastels. The vegetation was done with oil pastels. Again very quickly. Theres a bit of prisma here and there for her face and other details.

I had so much fun coloring this. I recommend this book a lot. Its on a league on its own. Very original concept.

Happy Friday folks. Heres a new coloring I did from the Mythographic Voyage coloring book by Joseph Catimbang @pentasticarts . With this coloring Im saying goodbye to the Leo season. This is a buddy color I did with my friend Raquel @coloring_colorado . It was a very special colaboration for me because Raquel is a Leo and her birthday was this month. So this one is dedicated to her.

Her version is incredible. She is always amazing in all her colorings. As for my version? I like it. Minus the dandelions. They look like rotten flowers. But I will be okay. The rest I think I manage to do well.

On the other side my friends dandelions are great. She did them very realistic. Check the collage on the 2nd picture

I also wanted to get out of my comfort zone because if it was for me. This would have been a bunch of greens, pinks and purples. So I searched for a color palette from the color cube from @sarahrenaeclark that doesnt represent me at all. Ive never used these colors together. Specially greys and browns are not my cup of tea. But the result was quite interesting - Slide 3, 4 and 5.

Materials: prismas, Pitt Pastel, Aceylic paint pens, Languo gelpens

Anyway this was fun. Bye bye Leo Season.

Hi people from Instagram. I hope you are having a lovely Sunday. Here I present you another illustration from Circle of Life. I continue my never ending journey of completing this book. One day for sure.

This specific illustration was for a summer challenge where our Spanish group had to choose a page with a dolphin. I obviously didnt want the water to be blue and the dolphins to be gray. So I did my thing. But this final result is something else lolol. My intention was not to make a psychedelic mess. I smoked something interesting for sure 😂 The final result was supposed to be more normal (second slide) No clue what happened lol. But I grew to like this tho...Its different...

My friends did an amazing job as always. The 3rd and 4th slide is a collage of their works.

Read the rules carefully because I think Ive cooked something really really fun lol.

SO Rules

👔 Choose an outfit from your wardrobe, that you love a lot or that is your favorite and choose these colors as your color palette to color any illustration you want

🧥 On the second slide upload a picture of yourself showing up the outfit you chose for the color palette inspiration. You can even go as far as include your shoes a hat. And everything counts towards the color combos for the palette.

The main goal of this color along is to see the face behind the account wearing their favorite outfit

👚 Are you shy or want to remain private? I got you. Dont worry. I want you to participate too. Simply take a picture of your outfit and show it. So it doesnt include you. Just the clothes. (Theres an example in the last slide)

Hello Instagram. Happy Tuesday. I hope you are doing good. The Cancer season ends tommorow so me and my friend Raquel @coloring_colorado did this color along to say good bye.

I wanted to follow a color along to color real skin. Since its been a while I did one. I was always doing crazy stuff because I lost practice. So I decided to follow a color tutorial to color skin. It was a tutorial about coloring a Hanna skin using prismas and I thought it was perfect for me. But I got so bored honestly. Tutorials seem to not be my thing it seems. Mad respect tho to the artists that make these videos. I know it takes time and effort. But this not my thing

So I decided to do a very #samwayscoloring hot mess. I ruined this girls skin once again I apologize to every one I ruined their skins. Quite a few people. That background is supossed to be rain lmao. But overall I dont think it came too bad. She is literally a full Cancer girl because that sign is ruled by crabs.

I figured if @hannakarlzon was creative enough to draw a very original portrait. Then Im allowed to do some random stuff with it. Well done dear Hanna. I love this illustration a lot. Tempted to do the crab next to it any given moment. And this one is very summery. Perfect to post in July.

I was inspired by @sarahrenaeclark from the color cube. Very beautiful. Slide #3 . I added strong blues than the baby blue and also added orange and yellow tones.

My friend Raquel did a brilliant coloring on her version. Slide #3 So dreamy and I love her color palette.
