POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Capping off the month of May with my reel from the 2025-26 @terpswbb season! 🐢🏀

I took over video content for this team two days before the team’s first exhibition and having never shot a basketball game on a cinematic camera before. Safe to say that I was terrified at first, but that opportunity and overcoming the early nerves have changed my life. From OT thrillers, road trips across the country, and getting to check March Madness off my bucket list, I’ve grown so much since day one with the team and could not be more thrilled to carry that on into next season.

As for this series, posting every day this month has been really enjoyable. Thank you all for following along!

2025: A Year in Review. 🐢🍊🙌

What a year this has been! I graduated college, started my first job, and created some amazing relationships and lifelong friends along the way. To say I’ve grown a lot this year - both as a person and professional - would be an understatement, and I’m forever blessed for all of it!

Thank you to @marylandterrapins and @cusepics for the memories that will last a lifetime. Cheers to an even better 2026! 🥂🎥 by @samwiththeshot

What’s it like to shoot a touchdown from a nest angle at a college football game? I captured this BEAUTIFUL shot at the Maryland football game last night to show you (the TD unfortunately got called back, but still a great sequence to show how the job is done). 🐢🏈

Filming a play in any sport is way more than just the highlight; it’s critical to capture the moment too. From the team celebrating, to the fans going crazy, opposing fans looking upset, and the stadium lighting up, capturing the entire scene helps what makes a shot go from good to great and tell a story.

I filmed this game alongside a team of around eight shooters, which gave me the ability to move the camera around a little more than if I was by myself. Stay tuned for some solo shooting content in the future 🎥🔥

Some selects from @terpsfootball’s 62-0 win over Hampton last night 🎥🐢🏴‍☠️🏈

Shot down from a nest angle throughout the whole game last night - my first time shooting highlights with Maryland football. Super stoked to keep working with @byalberttong, @noah.vasington.media, and crew throughout the season! by @samwiththeshot

@terpsfootball kickoff video 2026 🐢🏈🌩️🔴

First things first, massive shoutout to @jackcohencreations for laying the blueprint down for this project in 2024. Fast forward to 2026 - I came in and updated footage, reworked sound design, and incorporated an entirely new VFX package from scratch.

I don’t think I’ve had more fun messing around with sound design, VFX, and color on a video. After a lot of trial and error, this piece is probably one of my flashiest, and I look forward to building off of it with the effects I learned for future projects.

This piece leads into the iconic “Rock ‘n’ Roll Pt. 2” played at SECU Stadium, and I couldn’t be prouder to have my name next to it. 🙌🎸 by @samwiththeshot

A little behind the scenes of what I do at a @terpswbb practice with Meta Glasses! 🤓🎥

Shooting practice is some of the most fun I have behind the camera. Not only is there so much you can shoot, but so many different ways to film it. As strange as the motions look from the outsider’s perspective, it comes in handy when it’s time to edit ✂️👨‍🍳 #metaglasses #basketball #womenssports #videography #creative by @samwiththeshot

Taking a trip back to the first project I shot and edited myself at Maryland: a mic’d up with legendary @terpsfh Coach Missy Meharg.

I used this piece to showcase not only how Missy coaches, but what the 2025 team looked like prior to its season and the work they put in. More mic’d ups to come from me this summer 👀🗣️

Under The Shell, Season 22, Episode 3: “The Heart of a Leader”

When I first took over content duties for @terpswbb, this piece was my first “test” to show what I could do. Beyond proud to have produced this piece on one of last year’s most vocal leaders, Saylor Poffenbarger.

Saylor blossomed into a charismatic and fierce leader during her two seasons with the Terps. After a heavy personal tragedy struck early on in her life, she’s used that moment as a reason to fight, work hard, and empower those around her.

23 years around the sun for this guy. Shoutout Draymond Green, Christian McCaffrey, and for the ball knowers, Sam Fuld 2️⃣3️⃣

Here are some of my favorite memories from year 22 while on the job. I’m beyond blessed to be doing this every day, and I think the little guy on the last slide would be proud ❤️💛🎥

Whether it be the transfer portal or prospective high schoolers, welcoming in recruits with video content is vital to a team’s success.

I lit, filmed, and helped designed this recruit shoot set in Maryland’s new Basketball Performance Center. For this, I used the red lighting in the locker room to my advantage which reflected well across the room. To make the set look more natural, I placed a key light and angled four tube lights - all at low intensity - to complete the look and make players stand out!

Here’s the result of this shoot with the edit I made for new @terpswbb forward Nunu Agara! 🐢💡🎥

Your Memorial Day Weekend 🆚 Maryland’s Memorial Day Weekend 🌭🥍

I spent last week making a hype for Maryland Women’s Lacrosse for their Final Four match vs. UNC. The Terps have historically been a Final Four staple, and while others are cooking hot dogs and at the beach, they’re always in contention for a national title 🙌🏆

Thanks to @abbyullum for her cameo in this 😎 And HUGE shoutout to @vegavisuals_ for cooking up some elite content throughout the season - I’m glad I could play a small part in it 💪✂️

Celebrating Memorial Day with some firework shots from the nation’s capital 🎆🇺🇸

These shots were captured in January to kick off the 250th Celebration of this great nation. This was one of the first times I shot scenic in DC, and no better and patriotic event to film 🎥

Thank you to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice to protect the United States and serve this country.
