Normally the place where most engineers switch off is the place where they need to pay most attention… rehearsals/soundchecks give you a head start on the mix - make sure you pay attention!

Personal Mixers can be really useful especially when you you’re dealing with multiple things happening or don’t have a mons engineer however it’s important you’re still attentive to the person on the other side of it! Here’s a couple hacks that can help you be more efficient and attentive!

Loved getting to run mons and work with @jrudyjr & the team from @elevation.rhythm this summer @bigchurchfest and over in Europe. genuinely great people and a privilege to do this run with them! This is @ojwill IEM mix 🔥😮‍💨

Sharing some of my thoughts on my approach to mixing mons to create something inspiring for a musician to play to, a lot of trial and error to build a in ear mix that’s a vibe and feels more like a mix to give the artist context for the whole sound not just part of it. taken in Venendaal, Utrecht, Netherlands by @samwtjackson
