a year that changed everything…

year of stripping, 2025 did exactly that

ego death after ego death
facing + healing the deepest core wounds
physical health challenges (that’s what happens when you’re healing trauma)
I faced the darkest corners of my own psyche
everything my ego built or held onto was stripped away

…I also reconnected with my inner child
explored + adventured
softened into love + vulnerability
deepened friendships, soul connections
lived in flow + complete guidance of God/Source/Universe
connected with my purpose
worked on inspired, channelled projects
did psychic readings anywhere and everywhere
FINALLY ticked off Vietnam
lived like a princess
helped build my sister’s dream with HoR

I honestly don’t know if I’ve ever been more proud of myself,
and I know 2026 has a more easeful magic in store

a whirlwind trip to Melbourne to sell the rest of my things (car, storage unit etc), IRL client sessions, bro & bestie’s bdays, parents wedding anniversary, family dinner, @houseofretrograde activations, moving my flight to stay an extra day, extra cuddles with Franklin as his ‘time’ is coming…

…to my life building here:
basketball is (obviously) back in a big way, as is my fitness after a decade of burnout, I’m reversing my Hashimotos, deepening friendships & growing my community, relishing in all that I get here that I can’t in Australia, and building 2.0 biz @modern_intuitive from my soul.

don’t get me wrong, it’s not all easy. in fact, when you’re SO clear, it can make it so much harder when things are off.

but I’ve never felt more aligned and true to my soul, so I know it’s all worth it

sometimes others know you better than you know yourself… @heyitsaminaa was pushing me to move back for YEARS, and I stubbornly refused “I don’t like new Bali” “my Bali chapter is done”

so, so naive of me.

and while it’s true, there’s a LOT I don’t like about the new Bali..

from the over-commercialism, rapid colonisation (I know, irony), entitled foreigners, trash, shit roads, endless construction, assaults on mainly women…

this island has my heart. mama Bali awakens my Soul, and deeply reconnected me with my purpose. my dream life is coming together, from tropical bball, to finding expats raising their kids here, Waldorf and Steiner schools, actually good tasting GF bread (she needs her avocado toast), locals finally understanding my attempts at Bahasa 🫠🤪

I have no idea how long I’ll be here (current visa until Jan ‘26), but for now, I know I’m home 🇮🇩 taken in Bali, Indonesia by @samxgram
