There’s no such thing as a blueprint

There never was…

When you become one, you learn to let go of what was and lean into what is

You learn to release yourself, and each other, from expectations

You live
Love
Laugh
Cry
& Feel
Joy
Pain
Happiness
Sadness
And everything in between…

You begin to recognize that you - both individually and as a unit - are ever evolving
and with that, learn to adapt…so much so, that your reflex is to welcome change and embrace the blessings and challenges that come along the way

Day by day, your mind, body, and spirit becomes attuned to the fullness of what it means to love unconditionally, what it means to be selfless, and who it is that God called you to be in the life you share with one another

It’s a journey that I am most thankful for and one that I will continue to pray over

To my lover,
Best friend,
Smart bae,
Art bae,
Architect bae,
Sang-your-heart out bae…

I love you now and forever🤞🏽Cheers to 3 years 🥂Happy Anniversary 🤍

To the person who doesn’t know if they’ll have another opportunity because they failed…

To the person who is homeless/ temporarily displaced/living in an unhealthy environment and is not sure how much more they can take…

To the person dealing with depression or is mentally and emotionally defeated…

To the person who is making it work despite not knowing what the future holds or is unsure of their purpose…

I have felt what that’s like and I can only imagine the weight you are carrying. With love, I just want to say that…

🤞🏽Without failure, there would be no success or appreciation for the process it took to be successful.
🧳 Your journey is a part of a bigger plan that is filled with blessings you might’ve not ever imagined.
🤲🏽 Pain is temporary but your healing is ongoing and I pray that you overcome the challenges you have been faced with.
📝Your destiny does not have a timeline. You will never miss what is for you.
✨Your purpose is not limited to the box anyone else has put you in. Sky is not the limit - it’s just the view.

Only by God’s grace did I make it this far
To Him I give all the glory, honor, and praise. Thank you heavenly Father…thank you.

For the first time in a long time, I am able to be still and take in all that has happened over the past year.

One of the best parts about reflecting has been looking back on this part of my timeline and reliving every moment through all of our photos 🤍

Thank you to everyone who has sent us best wishes and prayers as we celebrate new beginnings together - we appreciate you more than you know 🙏🏽

Cheers to these moments and all the beautiful moments yet to come 🥂✨

I realized ✌🏾 things in my life journey:

1. You shouldn’t always take failure as an attack on your life. Sometimes God will allow failure to happen in your life to teach you a greater lesson, humble you, or use it as an opportunity to bless you much more than you ever imagined.

Instead: Ask Him what you are suppose to understand from failure and how is it going to help you learn and grow.

2. Being cut off from a family member, friend, co-worker, etc. is not necessarily because they hate you or want absolutely nothing to do with you. Rather, it could be a boundary that they set for themselves as a means to protect their peace, space, and well-being. Maybe them being around you or communicating with you is triggering for them. Maybe you challenge them in a way that they’re not use to and would rather not deal with you in any capacity. Maybe they’re in a space of healing and need time for themselves. Maybe the season of being in each others lives has come to an end.

Instead: Respect that boundary and know that you don’t always need the answer as to why that boundary was established; however, if you are mutually in a place to have healthy conversation about it, then go for it. If not, pray on it and ask for guidance in your understanding, ask for forgiveness for anything you might have done (if that relates to your situation), and move forward ✨

Though this is just my perspective, I hope that this encourages you to think about these topics and how they apply in your life ✨

Sending much love your way 🙏🏽 by @san.series

Each and every day that God grants us the gift of life is truly a blessing.

✨ Cheers to life ✨

I pray that, on this day, you are blessed beyond measure, you have peace in your mind and spirit, and you are filled with joy ❤️

It’s giving fiancé 💅🏾

The love and support from my sistah’s in this love journey - some of which that were here with us in spirit - was more than I could ever imagine. Shoutout to my beautiful bridesmaids for celebrating me all weekend and to all the amazing celebrations there are to come!

Hands down, Chicago is one of my favorite cities. Still, I have so much I want to explore and understand when it comes to culture, history, food, art(s),architecture, and more.
